Which means that initially you may not see your your chat pop up immediately. We're going through and improving them as we go. Also, a great feature is we have closed captioning available, so that's going to be in the top right corner. So if you just click that button, it is an automated feature, so it's not going to be perfect, but it will show up in the chat, so you can follow along with us.

So I'm so excited to have you guys here. Congratulations, welcome to our Friday session or Friday afternoon session of AG Experience Live. Congrats on being admitted to UC Davis. It's such an incredible accomplishment. I'm sure I'm not the first person to say that, and I probably won't be the last to just introduce myself. So you guys know who you're asking questions today. My name is Devin. I'm an admissions analyst and advisor for UC Davis undergraduate admissions. I'm also an alumni from the class of 2015, so I started.

are their small community kitchens in all of the freshman doors? if not-which ones do have them?
Almost 10 years ago this fall, it was my first quarter at Davis Ann and I'm super excited to share a little bit more about this campus and community that I love so much. So before we get to your questions, we had some from the pre registration. I see some already popping into the chat. Feel free to start putting questions in there. I'm going to be joined by the lovely karelina. She's going to be answering questions for me, helping me answer questions live. I also have Pam anti. They're going to be down here answering questions in the chat so you may see answers coming in there that aren't coming from me. We have lots of folks.

Kind of doing this whole team effort. I've also got some students, some tour guides, and some student ambassadors in answering questions as well so you can get kind of the current student perspective so we have a lot. A lot of support in here today, so I want to start off by just addressing a couple of things that I know are some questions that a lot of our admitted students are having. My admissions is going to be a great resource for you now, and moving forward until basically until you're enrolled on campus. So once you've submitted your sirf, that's you're going to do that in my admissions.
You're going to get all kinds of pre enrollment tasks listed in your my admissions homepage, and those are going to range from financial aid information housing application orientation.
You're going to info about all kinds of immunizations an all all kinds of things. It's gonna be very detailed for you. Lots of specific info, and in addition to links for who to talk to. If you have questions about those specific things and deadlines for you. And you can easily check them off as you complete them. So my admissions please look there first if you have any questions about anything, that's a really great first place for you to look. I also want to address a couple of specific questions, so housing is.
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:03:25 PM
Hi Brittney, many of our dorms do and if they don't, they will share a communal kitchen with the next-door dorm. For example, I lived in Potter Hall in Tercero, but used the kitchen in the neighboring Wall Hall.
Uh, so the deadline for the Sir is the first housing the application is due by May 6th, so that's going to be through my admissions. We have a variety of different housing options, so if you guys have questions about housing, start throwing them in the chat and we can start answering those. But we have three different housing areas on campus. We've got segundo Cuarto in terceiro so.
Victoria Martelli
05:03:48 PM
I'm planning on switching majors from Economics to Managerial Economics, is that possible after the first quarter? Do I still have to meet the foreign language requirement?
Jacob Stambaugh
05:03:55 PM
How many classes do you recommend taking for your first quarter, without overwhelming yourself and still hitting the ground running?
Abigail Hermosillo
05:04:06 PM
Are we going to be able to add a second major during Aggie Advising and if so, will our two majors start in the Fall of 2021?
They are in different locations on campus. They all offer very similar themes. Quarto has kind of the sleep style option segundo Inter Sarah have the quad and more traditional Hall style options but outside of that they all offer very similar things. They'll have dining Commons, they're in different places, so that may be a factor you want to consider. The housing website is super super helpful to kind of decide you know what area do I want to live in? All the pros and cons for each and they have everything down to the dimensions for the different rooms for all the different buildings so you can really see.
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:04:40 PM
Hi Jacob. Typically we recommend for students to take 15 units, so 3-4 classes depending on your major.
The space and what's going to be available to you. It's going to be included in housing. All that's going on the housing website and I believe they just did a housing and dining session before this and the recordings for that and all of the Aggie experience life sessions will be available starting April 12th on the Aggie. Experience Live landing page so you have access to this that session all the different sessions that we had on so if you miss something or forgot something that you heard you have access to that starting on April 12th and then the last thing I want to talk about is.
Karla Cornejo Argueta
05:04:50 PM
How do I add a second major and minors?
Orientation and again, if you guys have questions about these things, feel free to start throwing them in the chat. I'm happy to answer those for you, but.
Pam Blanco
05:04:56 PM
@Abigail, you can discuss your goal to double major with your adviser during Aggie Advising! They will let you know when you can officially declare the second major.
Preetha Vellayapan - Tour Guide
05:04:57 PM
Hey Jacob, I would probably recommend no more than 15. I think people usually do 13-15, I did 14 and it felt manageable!
Yash Choudhary
05:05:05 PM
Can we visit the dorm or have an in person tour?
Katrine Razniak - Tour Guide
05:05:10 PM
@ Victoria - yes! You will be able to switch after your first quarter. I would recommend setting up an appointment with a Man Econ advisor during your first quarter. You will most likely be taking GEs your first quarter so you won't be behind at all!
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:05:16 PM
Hi Karla. Yes you can! It is actually pretty common for students to double major or add a minor
Brittney Nial
05:05:17 PM
what is the best way to find jobs on campus and off?
Sydney Amate
05:05:21 PM
how long are classes ?
Orientation is the other thing. We get a lot of questions about, and so there's it's a three part orientation process. We have our Aggie one on one, one on line. You're not going to be doing any of this to you submitted your sirf so for those of you who haven't quite decided yet, that information is not going to be on your side missions page yet. But once you've submitted that Sirf the Aggie 101 on line is going to be your first step in orientation, you do that over the summer before you get here. It's on line virtual course, pretty straightforward.
Thai Vue
05:05:42 PM
@Brittany we have a website that post all student jobs on campus. It's called Handshake.
Once you've done that, then you're going to get you're going to set up to meet with your academic advisor. They're going to help you get you situated for what courses you're going to take in the fall, and then once you've met with them, you'll get a certain past time. And I can explain that later if you guys have questions about past times, but once you get that time, that's your window to register for your classes for fall. That's going to happen over the summer as well. After you've met with your advisor, and then the last part of orientation is going to be on campus, it's going to be after you move into the residence halls before classes start. I believe it's the 17th through the 21st.
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:06:08 PM
Hi Sydney. It depends on the class, but generally ranging from 50mins, 80mins, or 110mins.

Zhongjin Chen

Is there any financial aid for international students? If so, what are the standards?
And that's going to be an in person kind of orientation. That's going to happen if you have questions or orientation. Definitely check out their website Anuar. My admissions page will have a lot more info on what you need to do for that, so that's kind of my rundown for some really common questions that I'm getting, so let's go ahead and dive into some questions. Karelina, what are you seeing in the chat that you think I need to answer first?
Tiffany Vuong
05:06:26 PM
How is the social life at UC Davis? Is there a competitive atmosphere?
I don't hear you, but that's OK. I have a couple of questions that I'm seeing popping in here.
Aarush Bedi
05:06:37 PM
How large are the STEM classes?
Pam Blanco
05:06:46 PM
@Yash - unfortunately, we do not have in-person tours at this time. you can see floor plans of each of our residence halls here: https://housing.ucdavis.edu/residence-halls/
Thai Vue
05:06:57 PM
@Jin there is no financial aid available for international students.
Some are single dorms available. Yes, they are available, so we have single, double and triple, so there's different options for you and you can check out when you submit your housing application. I believe you can indicate preferences for that and if you have specific roommates that you want, so if you know someone else that's going to Davis and you want them to live with you, you guys just need to make sure that your application matches. So if you both want to live in Segundo, make sure that's your first preference and then you also have to both indicate that you want to live with each other.
And so if you want to request a roommate could do that. Just make sure you follow that.
Let's see if we can hear you now.
That's OK, alright. Let's see some other questions that we have. Any other questions about housing.
I don't see a lot of housing questions, that's OK, so we're going to move right along too.
Preetha Vellayapan - Tour Guide
05:07:45 PM
@Tiffany I feel like Davis has a perfect balance where people care about school but they also have a lot of other interests. People are very friendly and help each other in classes and the atmosphere is very collaborative instead of competitive!
Codi Tam
05:07:49 PM
how much do the 5 and 7 day meal plans cost?
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:07:49 PM
Hi Tiffany! As a UC, Davis is "competitive" but not cut-throat, meaning students are more than willing to help other students out with study guides, study groups, etc!
Katrine Razniak - Tour Guide
05:07:55 PM
@Kyle - you will be filling out a housing application where you can select one or two roommates that you are guaranteed to live with. You can also go random which is what I did and my roommate and I still live together today during our senior year!
Lawin Villena
05:08:00 PM
also, does Davis accept IB credits?
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:08:01 PM
@Aarush There will be some variation. A lot of the more general classes (intro biology, chemistry, etc) are larger because a lot of people need them. These might have 300-400 people in them. However, most classes have less than 50 students, and the big classes all have smaller discussion sections and office hours so you can get more personal attention
Kiara Zecha
05:08:10 PM
is it true that some pass times actually happen during classes?
One this is a question that I see in here that I think is a really good answer asking about the quarter versus semester system. So UC Davis is on the quarter system. I actually did grad school on a semester system, so I can pretty easily compare the two quarter system. Here at Davis we have a 10 week quarter within 11 finals week and we have three of those every year, so those are going to be regular three regular terms and then we have our two summer sessions. So that's going to be the fourth quarter. So there's gonna be summer session one and two. Those are going to be six weeks.
Korley Reese
05:08:12 PM
Does UC Davis have a sports medicine program?
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:08:17 PM
Hi Lawin, yes it does!
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:08:37 PM
@Korley We have a exercise biology minor and a sports medicine internship on campus
Pam Blanco
05:08:43 PM
@Codi - it looks like our Housing website is being updated with the meal plan rates for 2021-22, but you will be able to find it soon here: https://housing.ucdavis.edu/dining/meal-plans/residential/
Six weeks each, but they're optional. I didn't do a summer session course myself, I just did the fall, winter, and spring. I did a summer abroad internship over the summer. Those two things were over the summer, but fall, Winter, Spring. Each of those are 10 weeks with 11 finals week. Semesters are typically like 16 weeks or so. With that last week is going to be the finals week, but there's only two of those, so the load the course loads are kind of distributed differently. So instead of taking six classes at once, maybe you're only taking three or four?
And that's kind of how it works at Davis so.
Karla Cornejo Argueta
05:08:49 PM
How does living off-campus affect my financial aid?
Neeraja Sripada
05:09:03 PM
are research opportunities easy to come by for undergraduates?
I like the quarter system better myself. If there's a course that you're not really looking forward to that you have to take for your major, you get it done in less than three months versus semester system. It feels a little bit longer. It's almost four months. I also like the change of pace every single quarter. I also like that spring break was in the middle of the semester spring break. Kind of is the kind of middle point between the after the winter quarter before spring, so I like the quarter system. But do remember 10 weeks means if you mix miss a week or you're behind a week, that's 10%.
Thomas Tambke
05:09:21 PM
can I start my housing process before I commit to UC Davis?
Of the course, so it does move pretty quick, so you have to make sure you're on your toes, but I definitely think there's a lot of big benefits to the corner system.
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:09:32 PM
Hi Karla! It depends on your financial aid package and what it includes, but many packages allocate money for rent/off-campus housing
Alright, let's see what other questions we have in here. We already answered that one.
Kiara Zecha
05:09:41 PM
do u recommend studying abroad your first year?
Katrine Razniak - Tour Guide
05:09:53 PM
@Kiara - sometimes that can happen - I've only ever had that happen once but you can pull out your phone or laptop super quickly to click the "register" button and your good to go - you would typically have already chosen your classes before that! I've also talked to my professor about it beforehand and they are super accommodating.
Preetha Vellayapan - Tour Guide
05:09:55 PM
@Korley a few of my friends were sports med interns and they got a lot of great hands-on experience working with the Football and Track teams, athletic trainers, and team doctors. They even got to travel to away games. We also have a sports med club!

An it's an interesting question. How much does staff care about students? An asking kind of generally 'cause we do have a large school. We do have a large school, but I think that translates to us having a really large community. We are known as being very welcoming, very friendly. Our student body. Overall very collaborative in terms of this staff. I'm a staff member and I care a lot about students. I actually currently advise the.
Lauren Williams
05:10:17 PM
How soon would I be able to change my major?
I actually currently advise students in my from my sorority on campus in the past so I'm very still involved with students, even though I don't work with them necessarily every single day. Current students I work with perspective students every day, but I think this off really does care a lot about the students and you can tell in a lot of different parts that we have on campus. You can tell in you know, the initiatives you can tell in the different, just the.
Katrine Razniak - Tour Guide
05:10:31 PM

Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:10:31 PM
@Neeraja Yes, we have tons of options for getting involved in research on campus. You can get involved by emailing your professors, getting to know professors in office hours, or working with our Undergraduate Research Center. I've found it very easy to find these opportunities, and I've been a part of several research projects during my time here
Aarush Bedi
05:10:38 PM

Brittney Nial
05:10:55 PM
Thank you! So your key will allow you to enter the next dorm over?
Just the vibes, you just feel it when you're here. I know it's hard to believe that if you've never visited us, but we you have this welcoming spirit and I always encourage people when they do visit campus to ask someone around where something is. It doesn't really matter what an ask them. Where is the memorial union? Where is the activities and rec center? Where is Shields library? And you'll really discover how friendly people are. An that's the staff, but also the community, the students, the faculty. It really disseminates to everyone involved.
Lawin Villena
05:11:10 PM
how do you get your AP credits applied?
Katrine Razniak - Tour Guide
05:11:20 PM
@Aarush - All lectures are taught by professors but discussions and lab sections are typically led by TAs which are grad students.
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:11:25 PM
@Codi Managerial Economics is our main business major
I think there's a lot of reasons for that. I talk a lot about how we're very green, so I think that being good having all these different really healthy initiatives, whether it's for the environment for ourselves, physically mentale, we do a lot to take care of each other in our environment, and I think that really all trickles down to us really being happy people. So as cheesy as that sounds, I don't think I'm the only person that will say that to you, so that's kind of my two cents on how much this stuff cares about students.
Zara Luo
05:11:39 PM
when can you join a sorority?
Pam Blanco
05:11:48 PM
@Brooke - as long as the gap year program does not involve matriculation at a college or university, then that should qualify for deferred enrollment.
Thai Vue
05:11:51 PM
@Lawun once you submit your official AP scores to our office we will issue and post your AP credits.
Preetha Vellayapan - Tour Guide
05:12:02 PM
@Zara you can join a sorority as soon as you become a student at UCD in the Fall, That is what I did!
Do classes fill up fast? They can. It really depends on. Obviously some of the really fun course is like my favorite was tractor driving on that one. Typically freshmen won't be able to get into that class 'cause lots of other students want to take it, and it's very limited. But in terms of getting the classes that you need, you definitely will get everything that you need and you will be able to graduate in four years. No question, you may not get the exact time, but you want so I know it.
When I was in my first year, I did take some classes that were earlier than I wanted, but there's there's so many different offerings and they I think they do a really good job of making sure students have all of the courses that they need.
Edwin Salazar

Jacob Stambaugh
05:12:37 PM
How competitive are on-campus pre-med opportunities?
The average graduation rate is, I believe, 13 quarters, which is four years in the quarter, so that's that's kind of the general graduation rate. I could have graduated in three years. Actually. I came in with some AP exam credit and then I did two courses abroad in the summer and then I did a an internship over the summer as well. So those summers and then my AP credits easily could have finished in three years. Easily could have finished my minor in three or my major in three years. I decided to add a minor and.
Zhongjin Chen
05:12:50 PM

Do most students sign up for grad guard as the renters' insurance?
OK, I see a couple of questions about placement exams. The information for those will also be in my admissions an you also when you meet with your academic advisor should be able to ask them which ones you need to take. Most students will need to take math and the writing. Some students may need to take chem depending on majors and stuff like that. There may be others that I'm. I think there's some language ones as well. Again, depending on what you're trying to take.

@Ravneet you will need to contact the Financial Aid office. On the Financial Aid website there is a option to contact them via "ask the expert" link.
I'm still work with. You're looking at my admissions. It'll all be outlined in there. Once you submitted your sirf again, you don't say your sirf, it's not all going to pop in there 'cause we don't want you to go through housing applications. If you're not sure you're coming to Davis yet or you haven't committed to us yet. But once you do that, you're going to have all the information you need for things like placement exams. You can also always give us a call I tie or Pam or someone. If you could drop the number in the chat, that would be super helpful for undergraduate admissions.
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:14:29 PM
@Jacob One of the things I love about Davis is that the atmosphere is very welcoming and not super competitive. Speaking specifically about pre-med opportunities, we have a health-related internship program that randomizes when people can sign up, which takes all the competition out of it. We want everyone to succeed!
And I'm hoping someone will put it in the chat for you guys, but there's a lot of folks including me that answer the phones that can kind of help navigate placement exams and things like that.

Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:15:10 PM
@Brittney It is a Statement of Intent to Register. Essentially, this is the form you fill out to tell Davis that you will be joining us in the fall!
Let's see. So that was kind of answering placement exam questions. Oh, we're talking about summer classes this summer. You can take summer classes this summer if you are interested in taking classes at UC Davis through summer session, you would need to go through the UC Davis Summer session website and apply and slightly different process. If you want to take courses at your Community College, you can do that as well, like a local Community College. You can do that as well.
You would just need to 1st. I would make sure they're transferable courses and then you'll just need to make sure once the class are completed that you submit your transcripts to us so that we can give you credit for those courses.

05:16:15 PM
@Elly - The staff really care about students' social and academic lives. I've found that professors are typically super easy to talk to are always accommodating because a lot of students do a lot of things outside of classes! They really try to get to know students - and I would really recommend going to office hours to get to know them better!

If you're interested in any costs of tuition or anything like that, you can check out the I actually might be able to pull up the link for this. The UC Davis estimated costs it's pretty straightforward and it kind of breaks down in state out-of-state living on campus, living at home. It's really handy, it's just you see that you see Davis at U dash, the flash admissions, and putting in the shop for you.
Here we go so I just threw the link in the chat for if you're interested in the cost and the breakdown for what that looks like, it's a question here for out-of-state students. So there you go.
Preetha Vellayapan - Tour Guide
05:16:44 PM
@Elfy if you are referring to professors, I have had many professors who do genuinely care about my well being. They listen to students and provide a lot of resources about mental health as well. I have often felt comfortable talking to my professors at office hours if I am having any issues.

05:16:46 PM
can we take summer classes this summer? before the fall quarter starts?
Alright, so we have a question about living learning communities, so that is a really awesome part of our housing offer. Offering is students can live in specific types of communities and there's a variety of different kinds. There's dozens, so if you want to look at the full list, the housing website is the place to go for that.
And you're going to hear me saying go to XYZ website a lot, but you will find a lot of information on there so.
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:17:04 PM
@Elly While we hope that there is no drama, we do have resources to help with that. Our residential advisors can help with conflict management, and you can switch roommates if it isn't working out

I'm so sorry everyone! Thank you all for your patience :) I did want to introduce myself and say that I am also a UC Davi alumni and I graduate from Davis in 2015. I am also originally from Orange County and I loved being in Davis. So different from So Cal!
In terms of living learning communities, they are specifically in their specific to specific buildings. So if you want to live in one of those living learning communities, you will need to live in a specific building. It's not like we have one in every single living area. I believe the housing website will breakdown where those are located. I think they're semi specific. Some of them will have like I believe it faculty and residents or specific arrays or things like that. That will make them have to be in specific buildings so you can see which LLCS are where. You should be able to find that on the housing website.
All right, he answered the placement exam questions.

If I submit my housing application and get assigned a room mate randomly and I later find out that my friend is going to UC Davis can I update my housing application to have my friend as my room mate?
Alright, got a lot more questions about housing. Again, I you want to reach out to housing for specifics on the housing application or getting a sign of roommate. It was random when I was a student. It's my understanding that's a little bit less random Now, so yes, so you'll want to ask housing. And again they had a full session. You can check out that recording.
In 10 days it will be available on the 12th.
So it looks like there's a question about best and worst storms for allergies. I would say they're probably all about the same. We have lots of trees and lovely nature all around campus and all of our housing areas.

Sexton Chapman
05:18:45 PM
What are the best/worst dorms for those with really bad seasonal allergies?
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:18:53 PM
@Aimee It depends on the class, but generally office hours are kind of underutilized, so most of the time there are only a handful of students there, and you can get lots of individual attention
I'm thinking you probably would have similar experiences in all three areas, so it really will just come down to which you're most interested in. If you ever get to visit or you have visited, you can kind of get a feel for the different areas terceiro is going to be in the Southwest area of campus near a lot of the biological life science buildings in engineering buildings also near the dairy cows, but I promise it doesn't smell. Its also near the stadium and on the way to the Vet school and close to the Arboretum. The Segundo area is.

Hi Yash! I'm a Man Econ major so I can talk a little bit more about it. I would say the lower division classes you will be taking are more Econ focused with the upper division classes being more tailored to business. Check out the list of major requirements to get a better idea! https://ucdavis.pubs.curricunet.com/Catalog/managerial-economics
Brandon Nguyen
05:19:12 PM
How many units for our first quarter are recommended? I'm afraid of overloading, but I want to be efficient! Thanks!
A little bit more central, even though that sounds like it's next. Everything Segundo is going to be up there close to the arc. It's going to be pretty close to the moron Union and kind of more of the social science in general lecture Hall areas.
Nicholas Wang
05:19:34 PM
are roommates that are chosen randomly truly random, or is there some kind of automatic matching system in place?
Quarto is pretty far North that's going to Trader Joe's, which is not a day. UC Davis affiliated company or business or anything of that matter. But that's going to be right next to car to an that's going to be our smallest housing area. But that's where the sleeve styles are located, and they just they've been building some beautiful buildings over there. Lots of brand new stuff over there.

@Brandon In order to be a full-time student, you have to have at least 12 units. For the first quarter, I think they usually recommend taking around 13-14 units while you make the adjustment to college life
Ravneet Dhaliwal

How do I apply for work study? Should it be included in my financial aid?
OK, so lots of questions about housing. When do you have to pick your major who? Let's go right into majors. I love talking about that and pretty much why you come to college right? For your major and for your academics and study. So if you come in undeclared you will need to pick a major probably by your junior year. You need to have that locked in. The longer you put it off. Depending on the major, of course, the longer it's going to take you to graduate. So if you wait till your junior year and you pick something that has a lot of courses required for it.
Codi Tam
05:20:29 PM
meal plans cost?
Especially courses that are sequential, so you need to take them in a certain order an you can't just stack them all on top of each other. That could prevent you from graduating in four years.

In terms of if you want to change your major, you can change your major. Most students do at least once. I came in undeclared, so technically I changed my major from undeclared to communication. I believe that was my fi sophomore here, but I didn't know what I wanted to change it to, so I was able to get all the prerequisites done for my major communication. There are five lower division courses. I had a complete before declaring my major. Obviously, if you come in communication that's not going to case, you just need to complete those before starting your upper division.

05:21:15 PM
The Davis website mentions that the Environmental Engineering program has not yet been accredited, what exactly does that mean about the program? Where can I find more information about the program?
It's going to vary major to major, so you'll want to work with your academic advisor. Depending on the major. So if you come in with a major you know you already want to change it. Make sure you tell your academic advisor so that when they're getting situated for your courses for fall and beyond that you have all the courses you need in all dialed in to make that change.
Am I allowed to personally visit UC Davis and walk around without having a schedule guide? Absolutely we have what's called an open campus. Technically, we're closed now. We closed and limited because of Covid, but our campus is technically open mean we don't have gates or fences or anything.

Keep preventing people from walking on to campus. It is open, so if you wanted to walk from downtown through our campus, an Explorer, you're very welcome to do so. There's a few different things I would encourage you to check out, so for those of you who have not visited our campus, you definitely want to check out things, including the Memorial Union, the Quad there, right next to each other Shields library. I don't think it's open. You can't go in, but you can see how big it is. You can see the side where the 24 hour room is. You want to check out the Arboretum.

Hi Jin, it completely depends on your major and your time management/work load! @CODI - that's a great way to get ahead of prereqs and GE classes. be sure that the course/s is/are articulated with UC Davis courses on assist.org, and submit an official transcript to Undergraduate Admissions no later than September 1 so we can process your transfer credits.
I'm so yes you can walk on campus. There aren't any tours right now. You can't sign up for any of that. You can't go into any buildings. I see a question if there are students on campus, we do have students on campus, but classes are all mostly almost entirely virtual, so we do have some students living on campus now, not the capacity that we usually do. The anticipation is that for fall we will be in person again. We will have students living on campus to the same capacity as close to capacity as we did prior to the pandemic.

How business-y is Managerial economics? Is it proper business major or just business economics?
And then when you guys registered oh, so you guys asked about the business major so we don't have a major that is called business. We have what's called managerial economics, which actually was my minor. We also have regular economics. If you want something a little bit more, I believe theoretical. You can see the exact you can see that more precise differences on the economics and management economics websites. We also have sociology majors and various tracks within those, including organizational systems. I believe it's called so.

That major is great for more of the kind of human interaction side of business, so any of those three majors include or things like, you know, statistics or math or psychology or communication or anything any of those will be great pathways to business. There are lots of different organizations that are business based, so you can get experience in that. You also can get different internships. I have another peer who worked with ASU CD which is our student government so they helped with the finances and managing the budget which they have one of the largest budgets of any student government in the US for college student government of over $16 million. So someone has to manage that budget. Multiple people work on that so that's great experience if you're interested in finance, I believe we also have a minor in tech management through the Graduate School of Management. So you can definitely check that out as well.
So lots of different options if you're interested in business. Even though we don't have a major that is entitled business.

Alright, another questions you guys have. I see a question about Covid. Again, I already kind of addressed this. We are currently virtual. We planned hopefully be in person in the future. The Campus Ready Website is the best place to go if you want to learn more about kind of our initiatives and what's happening on campus and what it will look like in the fall. Are there opportunities for playing with an orchestra if you are not a major? Does it have to be a class, or is it just an organization that you can join?
Davis does have a pretty thriving social life. There's a lot happening on our campus. We've got over 800 clubs and organizations that put on all kinds of different events. We have a variety of physical community centers and they put on lots of programming for students. We have a lot of different. We have over 20 NCAA Division One sports teams and they're all throughout the year competing and doing different sports. We have football which I love going to football games. We also have basketball which are very popular games to go to. We recently added the.

Volleyball in question. Baseball is another popular sport to go to soccer's in their popular sport. To go to lots of things for you to do. If you want to, you know, be a spectator for sports. If you want to participate, we've got over 30 club teams, lots of intermural teams.

We also have Greek life, so about 11% of students are involved in Greek life on campus, which makes it the perfect size to be big enough for you to get a lot out of it. If you're involved in it, but small enough that if you're not involved in it, you won't feel like you're missing out on anything 'cause there's so many other things going on.
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:28:26 PM
@Codi You can, but I would recommend working closely with your advisors to make sure you can fit all those classes into your schedule!
We also have a lot of different you know events that happen on campus. Whether it's pajama Reno Picnic Day, which we have had to spend this year and last year due to kovit. Obviously we're hoping in the future. Years will be able to bring picnic day back whole Earth Festival. We also have our farmers market downtown twice a week, so Wednesday evenings and afternoons, evenings and Saturday mornings, rain or shine all year round. It's a really great social opportunity to engage with the community as well as other peers.

If you think about like the town of Davis know, so we've got like 70,000 residents, approximately an if you think about the number of students on campus, there's over 30,000 students on campus. Half the people living here are students, so if you think about anything that's happening downtown and movie theaters the you know Bike, Museum, or other museums on campus and gallery's the farmers market.

All of that is going to be full of students 'cause Davis is full of students, which makes this really a true college town, which is one of the things that kind of sold me on coming here an now. Katrine Razniak - Tour Guide
05:30:25 PM
@Catrinel - yes! It's very doable. They don't have to be related at all!
I'm seeing some more questions about majoring in double majoring. The process that you have to submit a petition. So just like when you when you get to campus, you have to submit a petition to add a major or change your major and that will be through the Department through the college where the major is. So it really could vary depending on the major. If it's something that's really competitive, how has a lot of requisites? You may have some hoops to jump through. It depends, so you'll need to work with your academic advisor. Work with the college, the Dean's office to get that all squared away.

Do we have to apply to housing every quarter?
Edwin Salazar
05:30:51 PM
How do we know when we should take the placement exams?
Well, that's very specific question. How can I find out how many students are admitted to a specific major an what's the average time to graduate in that college so we don't have admission statistics based on specific majors available for students, so I can provide that information. I also don't have a breakdown. I don't have a breakdown the top of my head graduation rates per college. I can tell you the average overall is 13 quarters, so four years in 1/4.
And if you end up doing any summer sessions, you're you're doing that extra quarter over the summer, basically.

Average time to graduate, but I think it's still less. I think it's like 14 quarters as opposed to 13, so the College of Biosci is probably going to be also in the 13 average range. It really is. There's not a major difference between the different colleges. Engineering is the only one that I remember having it being any sort of having any sort of significantly longer timeframe, but 13 quarters is going to be approximately for the College of Biosci. To answer that question.

YAY! We love our Tour Guides!
Alrighty, so I'm going to actually ask this question and have my tourguides respond in the chat because I want this come from current students. What recommendations do current students have for incoming students? So for my tour guides, if you could answer that question.
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:32:44 PM
Any specific types of recommendations?
Yes, we love our tour guides. I was actually a tour guide for almost three years. I was also an advisor for over a year in the Welcome Center as well, which kind of is ended up how I took a little roundabout path to left and then came back and I'm so glad that I did. I love being a part of this community and having this experience working admissions in the past so tour guides if you could add your words of wisdom for incoming students, that would be wonderful.
Bianca Bussey
05:32:50 PM
We love Devon too! :) isn't she great ?!?
Uhm, specific, nothing specific, this just is a very general recommendations for incoming students. So if you guys want to thank you Bianca, if you guys want to come.

Try new things! Be easy on yourself! Get involved in all things that sound interesting to you!
Can I take different however you want to interpret? It could be for school, it could be for bikes. I can give you my two cents about biking, 'cause I have a lot of recommendations about bikes. It could be about joining different clubs or participating in different things on campus, preparing for weather. I don't feel like we have crazy weather trying new things. Be easy on yourself. I love those. I love those recommendations. I think those are great being such a big campus. We have a lot going on. We have a lot of opportunities for you to get involved.

In the event of a state/national emergency or a resurgence in COVID cases and subsequently a college shutdown, how does/would UC Davis support out-of-state and international students?
Preetha Vellayapan - Tour Guide
05:33:49 PM
Try new things! Talk to your professors, they are so knowledgeable and want to get to know you. Talk to new people in your classes!
You can definitely find something here, but you really do need to kind of explore and try new things because there is so much happening. I think you just have to make sure that you're taking the initiative to join things and try things and just be open to kind of new stuff that first year for sure.
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:33:51 PM
Get involved on campus, go to office hours, use a calender/planner to stay on top of everything, and make sure you get enough sleep! :)
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:33:55 PM
Don't be afraid to try new things! When I got to Davis, I never thought I would do research or be an officer in a club, but I put myself out there and gave them a chance, and found out that these were things I really love.
Alright bikes, I love talking about bikes. Let's do. Let's do bikes now. So I love biking. That was one of the things I keep saying. One of the things I loved everything about. Davis you guys I love this campus so much.
Where can I buy cheap bike that's a really good question. You should buy a used bike. That's my recommendation. I brought a bike that I my. I got a bike in fifth grade and I Fortunately didn't grow very much, so my dad adjusted the seat and I brought that bike with me for college. So if you may not have that, that's OK. Use things like Craigslist. We have bike auctions here as well, where they will auction off bikes that have been left buying a brand new bike. You can do that if that's what you want.
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:34:38 PM
Also, get a fender for your bike. This is a must, or you'll get the freshman stripe (a stripe of mud up your back if you bike in the rain)
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:34:47 PM
@Devon, rt. There are many used bike shops around Davis and you can always check our free and for-sale facebook pages
It's just a really shiny bike is more enticing for someone to want to take it. I had a very old bike but it was reliable. It was trustee. It lasted for all four years. It wasn't really exciting, so I mean it kind of just didn't stand out, which was kind of what I wanted.
Jacob Stambaugh
05:34:59 PM
Can you choose to take your GE courses towards the end of your college experience in order to spend more time on major-specific courses earlier on?
Katrine Razniak - Tour Guide
05:35:01 PM
@Josh - you will apply to grad schools your senior year, or a lot of students also choose to take gap years. A TON of students from Davis go to grad school after undergrad for pretty much every single major, so if you're interested in that you're in a good spot!
The thing that I would encourage you to do is you can buy used bike or just not to spend a ton of money getting something super fancy because you really don't need it. You're really it's going to be a commuter bike, so a hybrid is a good option. Alot of students opt for a road bike. I like to go off of curbs so maybe that's just me being really goofy, but I wanted something with a little bit more substance than a road bike. Keeping your bike in your dorm, you probably could.
But I would encourage you to just lock it up outside and get something that you're comfortable walking up outside.
Kaelynn Tan
05:35:45 PM
I noticed that Davis doesn't let you use AP credit to skip GEs. Do you know what they can be used for? What would happen if we're not taking courses where our AP credit CAN be used for? Would it have gone to waste if we can't apply it to anything?
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:35:45 PM
@Jacob You can take GEs whenever you want, but most students take them earlier on because many of the really cool major classes have prerequisites, so it takes a while to get to them
You do want to invest in a good bike lock when you get here. You can, you know, talk to the people that own the bike shop and ask them. Kind of what they would recommend. They're going to be, you know, the local bike folks. They're going to. The ones that have the best options for you.

How does this advisor system works?
Pranshu Jindal
05:36:11 PM
What is the policy on deferment, by quarter or full year? Can one defer middle of quarter due to unavoidable circumstances?
I see questions about cars on campus. I actually didn't have a car. I used my bike all four years. I used it for grocery trips. I used it for going everywhere. The gym, the library classes, work, everything, everything made things a lot easier. It's equal friendly. It's good for you.
Everything in it. The campus in the town is really built for you to navigate on bicycle. We do have bicycle classes. We have a bike barn on campus where you can buy a bike rental bike at your bike repaired. If you really like bikes, you can work there. No, I didn't work there, even though I sound like I'm obsessed with bikes. I promise you I'm not.
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:36:39 PM
Hi Jin. It's through a system called OASIS, which you will log in to with your UC Davis email and password
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:36:42 PM
@Pranshu If something unforeseen comes up, you can take an Incomplete on your classes and finish them at a later quarter
But that's kind of there's a lot of support for you to to get used to biking.
Pam Blanco
05:36:45 PM
@SEXTON - i think your question is so multi-layered. when we transition to distance learning last winter, it was a fairly easy transition for students. some students opted to stay on campus, some went home, and safety measures were implemented immediately. if an outbreak happens again, the campus is ready! you can read more about our proactive stance on the pandemic at campusready.ucdavis.edu. UC Davis has been commended for our response to the pandemic.
Jessica Dalton
05:36:58 PM
Will we be able to bring a car after our first year?
Katrine Razniak - Tour Guide
05:37:01 PM
@Kaelynn - your AP credits give you units towards graduation so it's definitely not going to waste! You have to take 180 units to graduate so it really helps.
Some students will opt to skateboard or scooter, or you can walk. We also have public transportation if you want to use that, you can use our Unitrans. It's free for students to use. It goes all around campus and in the surrounding Davis areas. So if you aren't really into biking, that's completely fine, but I would encourage you to try biking. And if you don't like it, that's OK. You can sell your bike if you don't want it.
So that's kind of the two cents. I'm seeing questions about cars.
You can have a car on campus.
Preetha Vellayapan - Tour Guide
05:37:29 PM
@ Each college (e.g Letters and Scince or Engineering) has advisors that you can sign up for an advising appointment with online. There is also the same system for your major as well. They can help you decide what classes to take and just reach your academic goals in general.
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:37:32 PM
@Devon, there was a good question on sororities, which you might be able to answer
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:37:34 PM
@Jessica, if you live on campus, you will not be able to have a car. If you move off campus, you can probably have one!
It's it's difficult to get a parking permit. It's kind of expensive. I discourage it unless absolutely necessary, at least for your first year. You'll move off campus most likely after that, and then you can kind of figure out the parking situation after that. But there's not really parking central like in central areas on campus. You will still need to park on the outsides of campus and walk, and we have the largest of all UC campuses with over 5000 acres, so you can't really use your car to get directly to your.
Class, you will still have to do significant amounts of walking. Some folks will drive to campus and then they have a campus bike so they leave their bike on campus somewhere locked. So you will need to make sure your bike is locked.
Ana Matavulj
05:37:59 PM
I have serious food allergies, Is there special housing accommodation for those people?
If you want to be there when you get back, of course, folks may want to borrow it and put it somewhere else, so make sure you walk it. Some folks will drive canvas and then and bike around with the bike they leave on campus.
Faderera Popoola
05:38:18 PM
Will dual enrollment classes help fulfill GE requirements?
You would then still have to pay for parking on campus. I always encourage people to use public transportation. Our buses are really great and then bike all the rest of the time, but.
Do your first quarter, at least without it and see how it goes.
Bike auctions those are. Let's see if I can find those.
I think that you stay with Police Department does those.
Victoria Martelli
05:38:46 PM
How does one find out about the bike auctions?
Preetha Vellayapan - Tour Guide
05:38:50 PM
@Ana we have dietitians that can work with your for your specific needs so that they can guarantee there will be foods that meet your needs.
Pam Blanco
05:38:50 PM
@ANA - this is one of the things i love about our dining services! they can accommodate your dietary needs. learn more here: https://housing.ucdavis.edu/dining/nutrition/
You may have to fix up the bike a little bit from the tires, maybe get a new seat. Oh transportation and parking services. Does the bicycle option so we call it taps. Transportation and parking services, so that's where you're going to get your bike registered when you first get here. That's I mean, that's a great resource for you getting parking permits. If you have questions about that, they're the ones that are going to help you with anything transportation related, so tax.

UC Davis Transportation and parking services. They also have this bicycle program. They have lots of information about bikes, so if you have questions they can help you with that.
Bikes last thing I will add about bikes and I promise I will stop talking about bicycles and I'll answer any other questions you guys have.
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:39:31 PM
Hi Edwin, yes they are!
Get a Fender on the back of your bicycle. He doesn't need to be anything fancy you can put on both tires. I really you really only need it on the back. We don't get a ton of crazy weather, but we do get.
Pretty decent amount of rain. I think we average like 18 inches. It was a little not quite as rainy this past year, but we average like 18 inches of rain, which is fairly significant. I'm from San Diego, so anything more than like 2 inches of rain is is a rainy season for me.
Sexton Chapman
05:40:08 PM
I hear cruisers are a hassle when other people try to park next to them as well as not the best to ride for the hills @ UC Davis, how true is this?
So put a Fender on the back because when you bike in the rain bike through a puddle bike through anything with any sort of liquid, it's going to kick up the back of your back and you're going to really nice streak of maybe called the freshman stripe, which you really don't want. It's really uncomfortable. You get to class or all muddy, it's just so put a Fender on the back of your bike. You can get it for pretty cheap, probably order one on Amazon. You can install it yourself.
And it'll save you a lot of discomfort and.
I don't know if you can have toasters or Evans in the dorm switching gears completely, no pun intended. Omigosh adjusted up a bike pun on Eksperyans life.
Can we have toasters or toaster ovens in the normal? I don't think you can. Housing will have specific guidelines on what can and can't be in the residence halls, so definitely check out the housing website for specifics on that.
Edwin Salazar
05:40:59 PM
Are the bike lockers near the residence halls??
It's a question wrong by about cruisers. Is that question answered?
Zhongjin Chen
05:41:06 PM
Does the raining concentrates in the winter time or is pretty much the same all year around?
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:41:27 PM
@Jin Most of our rain is in the winter. Our summers get pretty dry and hot
I hear Cruiser hassle and people try to park near them cruise by cruisers so that the beach cruisers are kind of the bigger. They're very cute. They're a little heavy and they don't cheat. The gears don't change, so if you're interested in something that's a little bit lighter, a little bit more agile. Maybe go for a hybrid road bike. Even a mountain bike would be a little bit.
Katrine Razniak - Tour Guide
05:41:32 PM
@Sexton - that's a great question! From my experience it can be a little tough to park your bike next to a cruiser because of the wide handle bars, but a lot of students have them so it's all good!
Heavy, but a lot of folks use cruisers an love them, so really fill out what you think is right for you. But the cruisers are a little heavier and they are a little wider.
Which makes him a little slower.
Kaelynn Tan
05:41:48 PM
What happens if there's no more bike rack space in a populated area? Where would you put your bike?
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:41:55 PM
Hi Edwin, they are near the Activies and Recreation center, which is closer to Segundo. However they're bike racks All around campus!
I'm seeing a lot of people answering questions in the chat, so I'm asking a question about if you're in Greek life. Do you have to go to party is like? What do they do with that look like so Greek life an?
Catrinel Berevoescu
05:42:21 PM
How hard or easy is to take the classes you need? How large are the classes?
It's really what you get out of it. What you put into it. So if you want to go to social functions, that's great, but that's not what they're about necessarily. I myself was apart of Greek life as a student. I believe I already mentioned that an so I was really looking for kind of more of a network, and so I actually have gotten more out of my sorority after I graduated. Then when I was a student, so I did make some great friends. It was a great living, like I was able to live in the sorority house for a year, so it was a great housing accommodation.
Kaelynn Tan
05:42:44 PM
Where and how would we get internships? Os it throught professors, career center etc?
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:42:48 PM
Hi Kaelynn, there are sooo many bike racks around campus, so even if it's not *right* in front of your class, you will be able to find one!
Preetha Vellayapan - Tour Guide
05:42:56 PM
@Kaelynn we have a lot of parking so I can usually find a parking spot. However I would probably just go to class a little bit early and park farther away if there were no spots!
As the event chair, I got some really valuable experience for my resume and that helped me get my first job after I graduated from college again. A lot of the benefits from being in Greek life for me came after, so I was able to.
Katrine Razniak - Tour Guide
05:43:16 PM
@Kaelynn - I have personally never had issues parking my bike because there is so much bike parking. Basically if there is no more sports available near your class for example, you would have to walk a couple hundred feet for the next bike parking. It's really only a issue if you are running late to class! :)
You know, connect with folks in San Diego that were alumni from my sorority in Davis. Now that are alumni from my story that kind of when I moved back I was able to kind of have a kind of a network of people that I knew from Greek life then. So if you're looking for something like that, Greek life can definitely be that. It doesn't have to be. I mean, it's not necessarily like the show Greek or like the movies that you see.
It could be if you really wanted it to be, but ultimately that's not what it's about and you can get a lot more out of it than just that, so I hope that answers your question about going to social functions and things like that.
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:43:35 PM
Hi Kaelynn, we have an amazing Internship and Career center and a website called Aggie Handshake which posts internships
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:43:40 PM
@Kaelynn Both of those are great options. Our Internship and Career Center has great resources, and we have a website called handshake that is great for searching for jobs and internships on and off campus (including all over the country)
Greek life the cost of Greek life will vary chapter to chapter, so that's something when you're going through recruitment and you're talking to different folks in within the chapters and the organizations, make sure to ask them what that looks like, because it can really vary.
Zhongjin Chen
05:43:50 PM
How does the bus system works? What's the range? Does it connects all the way to San Francisco or Oakland?
Social activism on and around campus.
Considering that we are a fairly small.
Thai Vue
05:44:30 PM
@Sexton this past year when the campus shut down and went online many of our out of state and international students remained on campus in the dorms and took online courses.
Town, fairly small. I wouldn't say puny, but fairly small. We do have a pretty decent amount of activism. It's very peaceful, which is very Davis and in my opinion, but we do have activism on campus. We aren't far from the Bay Area, which I think areas like San Francisco are very heavily act like heavy activism is going to be there, so I think that kind of trickles all the way out to us. But I would say it's a very peaceful mellow.
Some sort of activism environment. We do have a variety of different political groups on campus. If you're interested in getting involved with those, you can.
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:44:48 PM
@Jin The Unitrans system only goes around the city of Davis, but we have other buses that come through that go to Sacramento and other parts of local counties. We also have a bus that takes students to Berkeley
Edwin Karle Bonetto
05:44:50 PM
How inclusive is the campus and housing for trans and nonbinary people?
Jacob Stambaugh
05:44:53 PM
Does Cuarto offer single occupancy rooms with roommates? I've heard that students wont be able to choose their residence hall this year,. However, is there a way to contact the housing department to express your needs and concerns? Based on my needs, I am quite interested in single occupancy rooms.
But that's kind of been my experience when back when I was a student and then now being in the community, I don't know tour guides. If you have any other insight as to any activism that you've seen or experienced or participated in.
Karolina Vasquez
05:45:00 PM
If you want to learn more about which Greek Organizations we have at Davis you can check them out here: https://csi.ucdavis.edu/chapters/
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:45:02 PM
Hi Catrinel, in general it is pretty easy and becomes easier as you advance in your degree. Class size depends on your major and can be as small as 10 people or as large as 500. Larger classes are broken into smaller discussion sections
You want to throw that into the chat as well. That would be great.
So if you're interested in being a part of Greek life, the recruitment process for different organizations varies. There are 65 free organizations on our campus, some of which are going to be your social stories and fraternities and panel enic and Interfraternity Council and things like that. We also have a variety of other types of Greek organizations. You can see. All of them are Center for student involvement website, which I already queued up the.

Are there free grocery resources on campus?
Ally Andre - Tour Guide
05:46:17 PM
@Kaelynn Yes! We have a free pantry and a service where you can get free fruits and veggies.
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:46:23 PM
Hi Kaelynn, yes! We have the pantry and Aggie Compass both of which provide free groceries and assistance w/ EBT
Added there so if you're interested in any of our organizations you can see what that looks like there and in terms of joining one, it's going to vary. Chapter, chapter. Organization, organization. So I see a question about rushing that's kind of an outdated term. Typically we use terms like recruitment or you know.
Brittney Nial
05:46:36 PM
I heard you say trader joes-is that the only or closest store to campus or are their others near campus too?
Katrine Razniak - Tour Guide
05:46:38 PM
@Edwin - Davis is super inclusive for trans and nonbinary folks, the LGBTQIA center is a great resource center that I know a lot of students take advantage of to get support/find community! https://lgbtqia.ucdavis.edu/
I think that's probably the most common used term now, and that's just when you are considering different organizations. Typically that's in the context of Greek life.
Weather questions do we have?
What's the price of bike lockers? I'm going to assume you mean a place to put your bike into.
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:46:49 PM
or they will give you gift cards to grocery stores depending on financial needs
And if that's what you mean, I do not know if you're talking about a bike lock, the the price can vary a lot. You could probably get a bike. A bike lock is $100 or more, but you can definitely going for us. But in terms of bike lockers, I don't know if we have a ton of those around campus. I'm seeing more popping up. I don't know the price of them.

Alright folks, we have about 5 more minutes.
Uhm, what other questions do you have in the last five minutes? What's the Bart train system so Bart is a Bay Area transportation system?
Not something we have in Davis necessarily. We do have an Amtrak station and that does go to the Bay Area and then you can use Bart.
Camille Randolph - Tour Guide
05:47:26 PM
@Brittney, we have lot's of grocery stores like Safeway and Savemart, both close to campus!
Pam Blanco
05:47:34 PM
@ANA - your question would best be answered by the Housing office, please contact them directly at https://housing.ucdavis.edu/contact-us/
Closer to the Bay Area, I believe Walnut Creek has a Bart stop. I I have never lived in the Bay Area specifically. Davis is kinda close South Bend, which somewhat argue isn't very close.
So I don't have a ton of experience using part. I would definitely Google that one, or if I have any Bay Area folks joining me any my colleagues if they want to answer that question.

05:48:17 PM
Does the library get super crowded?
I'm deferment, so yeah, I could talk about deferring your enrollment. It's basically you would defer your enrollment if you want to basically press pause on your education and then start again in a future quarter and you have you can push it. So let's say you've been admitted for fall 2021. You can opt to defer until winter 2022 all the way up until fall 2022.
You can defer up to a year.

Is it possible to take something like an Amtrack from SoCal to Davs
If you're deferring your enrollment, I want to emphasize the fact that I said you press pause on all of your education. You cannot press pause and then and try and defer, get approved and then go to a Community College or another institution. You will not be able to maintain your enrollment at Davis said you do that. Differing is basically saying I want to travel for a year. I want to work for a year and save money. I want to, you know, participate in an you know an internship of some kind.

If you have a specific question, can you email you? Why don't you give us a call? So I already listed the number earlier. The number is 5307522971. It's already been in the chat. If someone could also put that into the chat would be super helpful, but if you have questions yes call us. Feel lovely tour guides and other advisers answer the phones folks like myself. Answer the phones. We're always happy to answer your questions, but ultimately what I want you guys to take away from this is Davis has so much to offer an we.

is Yolobus going on now? If we fly in this next week mid week?
I want to do everything that we can to make this the right place for you for the next four years, so please take advantage of all these amazing events that have been put together. Thank you Bianca for for you and your team for putting this all together. This has been really, really helpful. I think for our students I've gotten some amazing questions so please continue to take advantage of these amazing opportunities and ask all those questions and really think where do you want to spend the next four years of your life? If you're not really sure how to figure that out, we have.
