I want to quickly introduce myself, my name is Lisa. I'm an admissions advisor.
And I actually and Davis alone class of 2015. I majored in psychology and was a human development minor as well an with me. I will actually let my colleague introduce himself.
Hello everyone, my name is Ty Boo. I'm an assistant director with undergraduate admissions. I oversee our domestic non resident or out of state recruitment and I'm also a international specialist so thank you for joining vertices tonight tonight for our web and R and can I can you type in how which one of you guys have already submitted your Sr to UC Davis? Alright great, I see. I see we have a couple so welcome to the Aggie family. Like Laticia mention. Uhm I myself. I'm also an alumni UC Davis. I graduated many many years ago when you guys are probably an elementary school, but I'm also a proud alumni and I graduated with my degree and Community Regional Development with a minor in manageable economics, an Asian American studies.
You wanna make a presentation pretty quick so that you can.
Answer and work with him before we jump into the material, but we do want to make this presentation pretty quick so that you can ask us any questions. There is a closed captioning option for you, so you want to have this narrated as we go along through the presentation. All you have to do is click on that box with the two seas in it on the top right hand of your screen.
Already is it with that will go ahead and get started so we wanted to talk about what it is an fit is essentially finding what works for you as a student at the place we were hoping to study whether that's a college or University so will be covering some of the different factors that aren't included in that definition, but we want you to keep that in mind as you're thinking about specifically using Davis and the place.
That you would and how you see yourself once you're on campus, or if you want to be on campus.
So some some questions that um we always tell the students is when they are selecting University is you know ask yourself. Some questions about the campus before you make that decision. You know as you saw what you need and want from a campus ask what your family, you know a lot of time. This is a very big decision for you and your family. This is going to be where you're going to be spending your next four years of your life and it's important that you also consult with your family your parents.
And allow them to have a say in where you're going to go. Spend the next four years or you are because a majority of the time they're going to count on them for financial support. So ask your family what they need and what they expect from a University. And last but not least, as soon as the University, what it has to offer in what it can provide for you, what kind of opportunity is available for you. While you're there, you know, each campuses have their own specialization. They have their own resources and.
As you're still shopping around here, or if you are still shopping, I'll ask yourself what does that University have to offer?
Great, so going into the first uh oh sorry, the first factor. Uhm, we have a few here. We have academic, social, environmental, financial and professional factors. And so our first one dealing with academics is how the University serves your needs. As a learner we have a quite of an array of resources on campus to help students with that. Everything from computer labs right next to you at the residence halls.
To tutoring on campus for a variety of different subjects, the second aspect is the social aspect. So are you being accepted by your individual individuals around you? Are you being accepted by the community and this dot community welcoming? Are you able to find a home away from home so we have over 800 different clubs on campus for students to kind of find that home away from home? We have centers on campus catering to.
Different cultural identities, just downright Denny's as well. For students that you can choose from an counselors who are more than willing to help you and guide you throughout your time. At UC Davis. The third factor is an environmental factor, so just you feeling comfortable and safe on campus and being able to enjoy the surroundings of the University. So Northern California, for example, would be kind of that larger geographic location that we're referring to when it comes to our campus.
The 4th fit factor would be financial aspects. So is it affordable for you to be attending school at relative to your family income? So will be touching on that that more. And Lastly, the last bit factor would be the professional aspects. So what opportunities does the University offer for you to be able to roll as a professional so that when you graduate you're ready for Graduate School for medical school, or even a career after graduation? So we're very.
Proud of the fact that we have a very popular internship and Career Center on campus where we have students go an attend the 4th year phrase that we have throughout the academic year, for example.
So going more in depth about the academic aspect of a University or what to consider when you are thinking about the academic side of a University campus, some questions, would you ask, does the college or University offer my field studies? How do I learn best?
Uh, what if I need academic support? So as you see, Davis, uh, we are at Large University. We are the 5th best public University in the United States. That's ranking that we are very, very proud of being out. There are thousands and thousands of public University out there in the United States were ranked number five overall. Outside of that were number one in the United States for veterinarian science number one in US for agricultural and environmental science so.
But in terms of academic wise, we have over 100 different majors for students to participate it, and one of the things that I differentiate UC Davis from a lot of our other sister campuses that we're very flexible with our academic policy compared to some of the other campuses. Let's say, for example, if you are coming in as a animal science major in the College of letters are agriculture and Environmental Science, and you decide not I don't like animal science. I want to. I want to major in biological science.
You can easily switch into the culture biological science by submitting a petition, so it's very easy whatever college you are admitted into, you're not stuck in our college. There's some flexibility for you to explore and to move around, so that's something that I always sell students to consider. How flexible is the University that you are? You would like to enroll it? Are they flexible enough? Or if you're going in and you don't like a major, can easily switch or major? Or are you stuck within a specific college? And if you do change your major, you have to pick another major within that college. These are some.
Aspect of of the academic policy that you should definitely consider when you're selecting a University anisha. How do you learn best? You know, do you like best well with hands-on learning? Do you learn best and, uh, a team based learning? Do you my best in large large classroom setting so you see Davis, we are a large University. We have over 30,000 students undergraduate students on our campus. So what that said, as an incoming student during your freshman or sophomore year, there's going to be times where you're going to be taking classes.
In the lecture Hall with 300 students or maybe 500 students, these are like your basic foundation courses such as like your chemistry or biology or your calculus courses. But once you are done with lecture, when you break into your discussion or your laboratory section, that classroom sizes are very small and this is where you break. You go from 300 to only 25 students so there is that. There are some classes that you definitely going to have to take that you're going to be in the large lecture style classroom with students. And that's just how it is at a public research University.
So that's something for students to consider as well. What kind of academic support the University offer? You see, Davis, you should never have to pay for tutoring. We have a academic Resource Center that offers free tutoring for our students. Students have the opportunity to go in there and get help with their writing. If the writing an essay or paper, they also have the opportunity to get help with math. Get a math tutor, or get a chemistry or biology to basically any kind of feel that your.
Um, um, taking courses it you can get a tutor for that particular course or that subject. I remember when I was a student at UC Davis, I was struggling in my accounting class. I want to. Then it was called the learning skill center. I went there and I asked according it. I need help. Well they didn't have somebody that can help me right away with my accounting class. However, there like will find somebody and within a week they were able to find the upperclassmen hired as submit to become my tutor. So it was a very good experience for me.
The University cater to what I needed at that time and.
And they provided me a tutor for free that I met with twice a week and I was able to bring my Gray pharmacy 2 eight by the end of the quarter. So these are just some aspect of the academic pieces that you should consider when you are selecting University. Also think about research opportunity to 70% of our student graduate conducting research, so if that's something that we are very proud of being that we are a research University. If you come to UC Davis, you should definitely have the opportunity to research or you should do a research before you graduate.
And we're probably going to talk more in depth about different types of research is later on in the presentation.
So another factor to consider is the social aspect of University. So studying is great. I mean the whole point of going to University or college is to get an education, but we also acknowledge that it's very important to build relationships and connections with the college that you are with appears that you're attending college with, so some of the questions to ask yourself are what kinds of clubs?
Does the college or the University provide? So? I did mention earlier that there are over 800 clubs on campus. Everything ranging from pre professional which include like pre Med or pre law clubs. Two more recreational or fun clubs like acapella or even like a Harry Potter club that I've seen around campus. We do have a center on campus known as the Center for student involvement or at the CSI we love. Are acronyms on campus but students?
Are able to actually just go to that center and talk to an advisor about what they're looking for in the club. What type of activities are looking to be involved in an all of that in the advisor? Help students find clots that they can potentially join. We also have a database online through that center where students can easily look for clubs that are meeting certain criteria for them. So that's a really great way to get started and build relationships with your peers.
As well as just kind of build a resume and build community.
Uh, which actually goes to the second portion? How do I find my community so CSI is one way, but we also have centers on campus, so we have everything from the student recruitment and retention center where you can actually get part time jobs as a program coordinator for really cool and fun cultural events on campus like our annual powwow held in the middle of the quad. It's a educational awareness type of program, but it's also very fun to participate.
In an also you get project managing skills and then the third question is where can I get help if I'm feeling down?
So we do have our student health and Wellness Center. UM, uh, of across the street from our recreation activities and Recreation Center. Also known as arc so you can get help there. If you have the universities insurance, you can take advantage of the services there. But even if you decide to opt out of that and fill out the waiver, you could still take advantage of the resources that are there. Additionally, we do have the mental health peace on campus in North Hall where you can get counseling appointments there so you don't.
Even have to leave campus to get all your health needs situated. I definitely take recommend taking advantage of the massage chairs that are in North Hall. You get 10 minutes of free massages, but you could always keep coming back. So I was Celsius. Take advantage of that. 'cause That's in your tuition fees anyway, so we might as well enjoy it while you can. But yeah, so I actually have a photo there of myself. I was part of a picnic day event there. We have a fashion show every year.
That was a really cool um community experience, because even though I was not a design student, I got to meet a lot of Design students through that activity. and I actually got to visit one of one that the people pictured here about a year ago in Hawaii where she works now. So it's great to see how that community extends beyond graduation as well.

Your muted
Sorry about that. Uh, thank you, uh, uh, uh, so as I was saying earlier, environmental is another aspect that.
Kyle Johnson
06:18:42 PM
No problem!
Students or parents should definitely consider when there are selecting the University. Some questions for students to ask our where is the college University located? What kind of weather? Should I expect? How safe are the neighborhood or the campus community and also how would I get around so as you guys probably know you see Davis is a college town, setting and that was one thing that drew me to UC Davis, coming out of high school was when I visited the campus. I fell in love with that college town, setting because I'm not I grew up in.
Fairly small city, so I wasn't audited that big city light, so when I went when I visit, you see Davis Yo I use it if we are a Division One school so you still get that big Division One school filled with 30 + 1000 students, but you in a smaller city. You don't have to deal with the traffic or of getting around. Or if you're living off campus. It takes literally no more than I believe, like the furthest off campus apartment complex is probably a 15 to 20 minute bus ride to get back.
To campus. And that's without traffic compared to if you were to go to a school like in the Bay Area or a school down so Cal California where there's lots of traffic. So that was something that drew me to. UC Davis will start environmental aspect, but you still get the large University of a Division One school field, but you're in a small college town, so the city of Davis has around 5050 six, 60,000 students of residents. Half of those residents are made up of college student, so it is a college town setting.
We are located in Northern California, so we are the furthest UC campus up North are next closest sister campuses, usually Berkeley, which is about 60 miles to the West of us. So we are the furthest campus of North are weather.
Uh, kind of like Mediterranean like we get over 200 days of sunshine a year. It does get hot during the summer, but every now and then we get the Delta Breeze coming in from the Bay Area so.
Our campus I will say over it's very very safe. It's very easy to get around. We also have something called sauce safe, right? Or uh, I go ask a escort service. So let's say if you're taking a class in the evening till like 9:10 o'clock at night and you don't feel comfortable, you don't feel safe walking or biking back to your dormitory. All you have to do is download this safe right and you can request escort to walk with your bike with you from your.
A lecture Hall to your, uh campus dormitory or to the bus stop, so it's very safe to campus is very safe. Overall, we have our own police unit on campus and it's very easy to get around the city of Davis. The city of Davis public transportation. Those red buses that you see in that slide is actually operated by UC Davis, and your classmates are actually your bus driver, so we actually hire UC Davis students to drive, and we train them to operate these.
Buses and they they go all over the city of Davis. Basically every major apartment complex has a bus stop right outside of it, so it's very easy even after your freshman year it. Let's say after your freshman year you don't want to live in the dormitory.
Ah, you can move off campus and, uh, in every major apartment complex, has a bus stop right next to it and the camp and the UC Davis campus is actually the bus hub. So that means all the bus lines that run throughout the city. Davis comes back to campus, so it's very easy to get around your tuition and fees include you are you are a transportation cost, so you can buy our unit Tran bus system for free throughout the city of Davis.
Now and also we are very big on biking, so Davis is actually considered the biking capital of the world on a typical day you will see around 20,000 bikes on campus. Even as staff. I see some of my colleagues. They have their own bicycle on campus because we are actually the largest campus in the UC system. So we might have been the largest in terms of enrollment number wise. But it turns out land wise we're actually the largest campus. Our campus stretches over 5000 acres, so it's as you can see if it campus that big.
It's easier and it's probably faster to get around on a bicycle, so we have large rose that goes throughout the campus that's only open to bicycle, so our students are very big on biking and I would really recommend if you do come to UC Davis, you must learn how to ride a bike or else it's going to be a very long walk for you. So just keep that in mind.
And just quickly to mention if you're worried about.
Let you see are you there?
So I just wanted to very quickly interject.
Sorry guys, were having some kind of technical difficulty right now.
Can you let us know if you can still hear us? Just want to make sure that everything is working? It's not on.
Iris Lee
06:24:14 PM
we can hear you!
Kyle Johnson
06:24:16 PM
We can hear!
OK, perfect, so we ask you hear me. I think I lost my colleague Laticia for a bit. So let me continue on with this.
So as you guys can see where we're located, we are located in an Northern California. We're very close to Sacramento. That's the capital of California. Mature majority of our students coming from out of state's can actually fly into Sacramento and from the Sacramento airport to our campus is probably around a 15 minute Huber or lift, right? We do have ride share in the city of Davis, so it's very convenient. Very easy for students to.
Get around, move around where 40 minutes away 45 minutes away from Napa Valley. Alot of the parents they really like you see Davis because once they drop you off they can go out to the Napa Valley wine country. And like I mentioned were not that far away from the Bay Area. San Francisco is about an hour and a half to the West of us. Lake Tahoe is about a 2 hour drive to the east of us and I really enjoy later. Hope for those of you guys who love to snowboard or who loves to ski during the winter.
Lake Tahoe has some of the best ski resorts in the world, and, uh, even now, uhm, you know. I still go out. There are still go out to Lake Tahoe every winter to snowboard. And definitely when I was a student at UC Davis, my group of friends we will definitely go up to Tahoe during our winter break to go snowboarding. So very located in a very easy region to get around to some of the best.
Uh, visitors points to our throughout California.
Lattices are welcome back.
Alrighty, let's try this again. So, um, moving on to the financial aspect of the fit factors, so some questions to ask. How much is the annual cost to attend? So I was looking and I think most of you, if not all of you are from California. So if you were a part of California you will see that you have some financial aid options available even if you're not coming from California. We have given you.
So for financial aid package that is available to you for this year, you should go through your my admissions portal and then select your financial aid. Or you're my awards to see what that breakdown looks like right now. Since you are perspective students or admitted students, any scholarships that we that you would have been eligible for were already applied, but for the upcoming years as continuing student, one thing you want to keep in mind is that universities will have scholarships that you can.
Applied into as well as you continue your education. So one thing to keep an eye out for the 2nd question to ask is what is the return on investment? So what that means is yes colleges has a pretty big price tag usually no matter where you go and so one thing you want to see is is that University giving me my return on investment. Yes, I'm paying a lot of money to come here, but will I be successful upon graduation and be able to meet the career goals that I'm aiming for?
So we have quite a bit of rankings in regards to return on investment on our campus. What we have in a couple years running have gotten at least top 10 in return of investments, and having students feel like they are employable an ready to tackle the real world after graduation.
And a third question, How do I apply for financial aid and scholarships so we do have our financial aid office for any questions you have about what's showing up on your my awards. An all of the tuition and fees and all of that. But we also have a scholarship office. So again, when you're continuing student, if you're looking to apply to individual scholarships offered by the University, you could talk to an advisor in the scholarship office so that they can help you apply, especially if you're aiming for very prestigious awards and scholarships.
And Lastly, I'm can I get help finding a job so we do have for career fairs throughout the year. We have three there open to all majors in the 4th that is specializing in engineering and science related majors. So we have a lot of different companies. We have over hundreds of different companies show up everything from the federal government to Chevron and even Amazon. So some pretty big names. Another thing we do to prepare students for finding a job is again, the internship and Career Center. So I actually worked there as an advisor.
Right before I graduated, so I got to learn about working with resumes and how to improve that, and that's an open resource for students. So you can go in there as many times as you need to get a resume check. But also you can also do that and talk to them about how to kind of tailor your studies to the career that you're hoping to get an. In some cases they may even have connections to people recruiting and specific companies.
And Lastly we have uhm big companies like Chevron, like I mentioned who are sometimes on campus to even talk to students in smaller settings. So more presentation style about what they're looking for in an employee. So that helps you cater your resume to that type of company.
Kyle Johnson
06:30:08 PM
What about merit scholarships? Sorry my phone died I didn’t hear if you mentioned that...
So it looks like we actually have a question about scholarships and so we have a question. The question is about what about merit scholarships? So merit scholarships in for the first year are already awarded. You'll see those through my admissions, but in your continuing years you do have a scholarship office that you can talk to advisors for an in regards to applying to prestigious scholarships. Also, if you are in good academic standing, the University usually gives you a small grant every year, so in myself.
More year when I had about a 3.2 GPA, I actually had about $200 from the University. I'm come in the next year as a junior and so that was nothing that wasn't anything I had to apply for. It was automatically applied. So you want to check in with the office to get additional scholarships, but also keep an eye out for my admissions in the continuing here is to see what else Do University is offering.
Kyle Johnson
06:31:08 PM
Perfect thank you!
So the next section that we're going to talk about is the professional aspect of the University.
Kyle Johnson
06:31:51 PM
Muted again... lol
Sorry about that guys. This is so uh, I another aspect of picking the University that you should consider is the professional side. So opportunities we kind of mention that all throughout this presentation is what kind of opportunities the University has to offer for you. And as a student you should definitely ask. How can I get an internship?
Other research opportunities available for me. How can I connect with companies in my field? What if I want to go on to Graduate School or any kind of academic support for that? So that is the kind of touch a little bit on this part. We do put it on.
Throughout the academic school year, personally, when I was a student at UC Davis, I never had any issue finding student employment, whether it be on campus or off campus, and definitely internship when I was soon added two different types of internship prior to graduating, I got offers from both my internship site, so it's the opportunity is definitely for you, especially at UC Davis. We have. Actually we actually have one of the largest internship inquiry center in the United States.
Ah, that's something that we are very proud of, meaning we have lots and lots of connections and resources for our students. And, you know, like booty said, mention Fortune 500 companies comes directly to the UC Davis campus to recruit our students. Being that we are the number 5 ranked public school in the United States, a lot of these Fortune 500 companies know that our students, once they graduate, they come out very, very well prepared, so they actually come to our campus. They can do on spot interview with students.
They put on different informational workshops for students, so just know that your opportunities, your professional opportunities at UC Davis is definitely endless. I mentioned also we have 70% of our student conduct research. As you see Davis, we actually have an undergraduate Research Center, so let's say if you're a student that really wants to do research and you're really shot right and you wanted to research, but you don't know where to start, you can definitely go to the undergraduate Research Center.
And talk to an advisor in that center and they can help you get started on a on a research that's within your academic major or your academic interests so you can start right away as a freshman, but majority of the time if you want to do research with the with the professor professor like to work with the students were a little bit more order, so usually sophomore junior year when I was assuming you see Davis, I did two different types of undergraduate research. I did research during my junior year and I also did a research during my senior year.
Uh, also, uh? In my senior research was within my I work with the professor within my major, so it was a very unique experience, collecting data and analyzing data and work. You want to one weather professor on his research, so just know that these opportunities will be available for you at UC Davis interns, I'm going on to grad school. Alot of our students do continue their education and go on to Graduate School myself. For an example right after right after UC Davis, I went on an I.
Continue my education and they got my Masters in counseling. Whether you want to go on to PhD school, go on to get your Masters degree or going to professional school at medical school in pharmacy, school, dental school, veterinarian school, our campus will prepare you for that next journey that you're going to go on. All you have to do is just utilize the resources that's available for you on campus. Meet with your academic advisor. Meet with your major advisor and tell them about your academic goals in your plans and they will make sure that you stay on track.
To accomplish your goals that you set forward, and especially for our students who are interested in the medicine field, we also have a pre health advising Center on our campus and they were very closely with any students that wants to go onto the health professional feel after the undergraduate degree. So if you want to go on to medical school, they will put on different kinds of workshop that will help you in terms of best practice for medical school interview. Best practice on studying for the M cat or the peak at.
Example, so whatever field you want to go on to just know that as you see, Davis were gonna be offering some kind of services that's available for you to help you go on to accomplish your next academic goals. And let's just say, would you like to elaborate more on this picture right here?
Yeah, so this is actually metering. UM, one of my classes. A neurobiology class where we had lab dissecting sheep brains and sheep eyeballs. And actually this was a way that I was able to build skills in to go into an internship where I was actually working with Prairie voles, which are almost like miniature little hamsters.
Kyle Johnson
06:37:49 PM
Sorry another question... Are some of the internships paying?
There are special and infamous in the world of psychology for being monogamist. So there um studied quite often to talk to do more studies on human kind of human relationships in a romantic way. So it kind of was a picture just to showcase that we have labs on campus for students to get into research opportunities into. We do have a question about internships paying an that question question could best be answered with answer. It depends some internships.
Pay some don't. So really will depend on the Department or where you're getting that internship from. Some research opportunities work the same way, so if you're working in the summer, sometimes they have a small stipend. So also depends on how long you been working for a lab. If you're continuing for the 2nd third 4th year, they may be more responsive to giving you something as you are building more experience.
But research isn't is a thing that you can definitely take advantage of. Its not required even though we are research based institution and research is not limited to just science. So I know stereotypically people think of labs just like in that photo, but we actually do have as part of the undergraduate Research Center affair catering to arts, humanities and even some social Sciences where students can do research and even get funding to travel nationally to present.
Their research, so our students are able to do any type of hands on experience in regardless of the field.
So with that we do like to say that there is a home for everyone on campus student some. Once they graduate you hear a lot of our alarm saying that they really appreciated their time at Davis because of that community and being able to feel supported and whatever it is that they are pursuing in terms of their career, but also as they build themselves as individuals. So there's a lot of resources for students to take advantage of for all aspects that they're looking for. And that's one thing that were.
Basically, the point of this web and R is for you to think about what it is that you need and what you think you need as a student. As an individual, as a professional future professional, growing and going into University.
So basically we're nearing the end of this presentation, so, um, some important dates that we would like to bring up is RSI. Our deadline is May 1st, which is coming up this Friday, so if you haven't say yes, UC Davis. We hope that this webinar will kind of give you a more insight on to what you see. Davis has to offer for you in terms of picking your best Fit University. We definitely understand that you see data. It's a great fit for some students.
And maybe you see Davis is not a fit for for some students, and you know that's OK. That's why we want to put on these types of web and R to provide you the information for you to make that decision and say Hey is UC Davis the best fit for me. Like Laticia night, you know, back when we're making this decision we understand just like you guys, we were in the same shoes we were admitted to multiple. We receive multiple University offers, but at the end of the day we made the decision saying that UC Davis was the best fit for us and we kind of shares our experience with you guys a little bit.
Through this presentation. So just now that if you haven't committed to UC Davis, but you still have until May 1st to join the Aggie family. For those students that we mentioned earlier that you did submit your essay already. Welcome to the Aggie family. We look forward to seeing you guys on campus. Hopefully this fall. You know we definitely understand what this COVID-19 pandemic going off the University is monitoring the situation closely and we will probably provide you guys to update over the summer onto what's going to be happening this fall.
And also you can stay connected with us throughout this process if you have your phone right next. If you just got scan this QR code is actually. It will take you to a WhatsApp Group an within that WhatsApp Group. It's a way for you to connect with an emissions advisor with either laticia or myself or one of the admissions advisor that works in our office. And it gives you that connection to connect with other students who have committed to you, see David or who are still shopping around.

Do you know if the buses go to the airport?
So we have a question about whether the buses go to the airport and answer is yes. So we have our unit trans bus, which are the red ones. Those go within the city of Davis and run about every 15 to 20 minutes about every other block. And like I said, stops at every major apartment complex, but we also have our County bus known as the yellow bus, which also has two bus stops on our campus along with our unit trance passes and the Yolo County bus will stop.
In Davis, different parts in Davis as well as outside cities including Sacramento, which is where the airport is at. So I've actually taken the bus. The Yolo County bus from the airport back to campus so it will take you to the direct terminal that you need. If you are trying to take a flight home for example.
Do you have any other questions? Uhm, we're both alone, so feel free to ask us about student life as well.

Are there a lot of hidden fees on campus?
So we have a question about hidden fees on campus and so, well, I tell students is that your main resources are covered with your tuition. If you're trying to take like a rock climbing wall class for example, that will be will have a fee, but we will tell you up front before you register in the person and are charged all of a sudden for things like.
Services at the that you could take advantage of at the student health and Wellness Center, those ones will be covered according to your insurance. If you're coming in with your own and have filled out the UM ship SHIP waiver.
So in the form of Co pays, for example, if that's something that your insurance does not cover, but that will be according to your own internship, sorry, your own insurance. And if you have the University insurance or ship then then they have their own rules in terms of prescription. How much prescriptions, cost and all of that. But usually all of that is manageable. So when I had to pick up a prescription there, I only paid my $20 copay on through my insurance.
Time, did you have anything to add on that?
Now that's a you covered it up pretty well. Um majority of the time that you're too, uh. Student tuition fee covers a lot of the services that's available on campus. In addition to that, if you live in the housing on campus dormitory, we do guarantee on campus dormitory for two years now you will have to purchase a meal plan and with your Mail plan you can eat at any of the other three different dining Commons or the DC as we like to call it on on campus. We also have one off campus.
And then I started that, uh, let's say we also have like many fast food chains throughout campus. If you want to, uh, we have what's called Aggie cash. You can load up your cash card and use that purchase Mills at the coffee house or at the fast food chains on campus that is additional out of pocket. It's not included in your dining comment Mail plan, but those are just some of the some examples of what you would definitely have to pay out of pocket. On top of that.
Also, Um, I don't see any other questions, but I will wait a minute here to see even ready else gets a question here, but it's not. Will end at 6:50.
A man like I said you can always contact us. We do have. Uhm, that WhatsApp group that you can ask us questions. We also have our contact information online or you can go to this website here and give us a question through the asking advisor tool.
