Well, welcome to the finding your best fit University web and R. My name is Ty view. I am one of the assistant director uh, with undergraduate admissions, I, uh, work, uh, directly with our recruitment, uhm?
Uh, and uh Indonesia I uh then to Jakarta a few times. Uh, usually come around this time of the year we will be coming out there to Ricardo or Indonesia to host are admitted student reception, but with the coronavirus situation this year we cancel all of our international welcome reception events. So we're going to be putting on different kinds of web and are moving forward too.
I'm still provide students with information about our University.
So First off, if you guys are here joining me an my colleague Veronicas in day Heights on this web and RI want to congratulate you guys, you guys have are admitted into a top five University in the United States. Uh, from applicant pool of over 75,000 applicants. So congratulations to you something to be very proud of and I hope that after this presentation this web and R.
Yeah, you guys will see if you see Davis is the best fit a University for you? Um, I'm going to, uh, presentation is not that long. I'm gonna go through this presentation and I'm going to leave room at the end for questions. Can you guys let me know where are you guys? Um logging in from?
Are you guys from Jakarta Watt, part of Indonesia? Are you guys from and what school?

Semarang, Indonesia
So if it matters, so when you out as well now you guys are probably receive a notice from different colleges about your, uh, acceptances, decision. You know, we totally understand that you guys students are applying to multiple universities out there, and we want you guys to know that you know go into college. It's a life changing experience an we want you guys.
To um, know that finding a college fit matters. This is going to be the next four years of your life. Yeah, and we want you guys to find a college that's right for you. Uh, an that you understand the mini aspect of, uh, fits, so moving, moving forward.
Some questions that you need to ask a yourself. You know what do you need and what do you want from a college you know? Uhm, ask your family, what did they need and what did they expect from a University or college an ask the University? What does the University offer and what it can provide? You know there's all sorts of universities out there in the world. There is small universities. There's large University like UC Davis, UC Davis. It's a large University which I will go more in.
So some of the criteria when we said University fit that students should consider our academics. No social, environmental, financial and professional in. I will go more into detail with each fit factors.
So academics is very important that you make sure that the University you are attending has the academics that you are interested in studying. You know UC Davis. We have over 104 majors, right? But maybe, uh. Sometimes we might not have a specific type of majors that you are interested in. You know. Uhm, for, uh, for example, you see there as we are.
More stronger on the Uh, Environmental Science and the biological science, a site compared to your uhm. Other major such as business or, uh, the criminal justice. So, um, definitely academic is something that you need to factor in. Does this school half what I want to study social? The social means you know what kind of?
Opportunity, what kind of access, uh or community does this campus about provide for their students?
Environmental, you know. Environmental is huge. This is something that I always tell students to factor in. You know, uh, where is the school located? Is it located in a big city or is it located in a smaller city? You know, you see Davis. We are want the only school in the UC system that's located in a college town, meaning that you have a big University with over 31 thousand students but were located.
In a small college town. So for example, when I'm out in Indonesia, Jakarta is a huge city and the traffic in Jakarta stresses me out when I'm there. However, in Davis you don't get you won't see any of that traffic, so we are as small town, a college campus. The city of Davis has around 54 thousand students, 54,000 residents. Half of those residents are made up of college to.
Financial aspect, how affordable is to school? What is the cost of attendance? Can my family?
Uh, uh, for the tuition in the cost cost of attendance? Uhm? What are some scholarship that's available for international students? Professional water are some potential.
Employment opportunities that, uh, the school, offers and such as internships such as research experience. As you see Davis. 70% of our student graduate conducting research, so that's something that we are very proud of an our students come out very well prepared in that aspect.
So going more in depth about it, I will talk. I talked a little bit about this, the academics I and these are some questions that you need to consider. You know, does the University, the college from the University offer my filler study? You know? In addition to this, how flexible all the academic aspect of the University can I double major? Can I pick up a minor? I always sell students. You should definitely pick up a minor if you're coming to UC Davis.
But one of the great thing about you see Davis, is that our academic policy is very flexible that it allows students to, um, double major across our four different colleges. So we have four different colleges that houses 104 major. An just because you have been admitted into one college, for example, the College of.
Uh, agriculture and environmental science. That's a college that I graduated from. I myself am an alumni of UC Davis as well. You can pick up if you want to double major an A major that's house in a different college. You definitely have the opportunity to do that, or how flexible are the OR flexible. Is the University in terms of changing your major at UC Davis? We are very flexible with that. If you are admitted and you feel right now.
After 1/4, this is not the major that I am interested in. You can switch it and, uh, by just submitting a petition, and you can definitely switch your major into a different Department within the same car college. Or you can jump into a different major in a different college.
Oh, uh, also other factors to think. How do I learn best, you know, do uh, do I learn best in a small group setting large group setting, you know? So another fact thing to consider it, especially with the University of California system you know, do I learn best in a fast paced environment or slower paced environment? You see, Davis, we are very fast paced environment. We are on the quarter system.
That's all for one academic year. There's three academic quarter. Each quarter glass is 10 weeks, so it's a very fast pace environment compared to what you are probably used to in high school.
What kind of academic support is available? You know, uh, does the University offer free tutoring? Uh, for their students, they are do. They are offered a different tooling, support different research opportunity. So at UC Davis you should never have to pay for tutoring. If you come to UC Davis, we have an academic Resource Center that works with students 101 in terms of of providing tutoring support.
When I was as soon as you see Davis, I need a help. Anna accounting business class and I went into the centre. Yeah they didn't have a tutor right away but they went out and they were able to hire A upperclassman to tutor me to an I definitely improve my overall grades in that class. By the end of the quarter. So that is something that I'm very fortunate enough that you see they was able to provide that.
Opportunity for me and we also have an undergraduate Research Center for those students who want to conduct research. So if you want to do research in, you know that hey, I'm I want to do research. I want to gain a hands-on research history, but I don't know where to start. The academic undergraduate research centre is I center that can help you get started on doing research on campus.
So the social aspect. So questions to ask? What kind of clubs does this University or college provide? What How do I find my community on campus? Well, where can I get help if I'm feeling down? So on our campus, UC Davis has over 800 student clubs organization being a large Division One school with over 31 thousand students, that's something that we are very proud of. So within these.
800 student clubs and organizations. It consists of our Greek life. Um, so that's the fraternity in a sorority. We also have different kind of academic interest club professional, interest club and social interest club. So anything that you can think of that you can definitely.
Join the club once you get on campus or if it's not a club that you are interested in, you can start your own club. That process is very easy an I an on our campus. Uh, we definitely have an Indonesian Student Association so when they put on different types of event, I definitely do my best to go out there and support that student club.
Yeah, In addition to that, um, the environment perspective, you know, like I mentioned, where is this University located? What kind of weather should I expect? How safe is the neighborhoods in this non in school? How do I get around so I UC Davis? Like I mentioned we are in the college town so we're located in a small city. Uh, however we are a large campus. We are the largest UC campus in the UC system in terms of land wise. So our campus stretches over 5.
1000 acres it's a huge campus, so one of the biggest thing about UC Davis. If you will notice is that UM, we have lots of bytes in if you ask students, you, uh, uh, current students that I used to do is biking is essentially, you must learn how to ride a bike on campus and typical day you will see over 20,000 bikes on campus.
Um, and In addition to that, uh, we are located in California. We are in Northern California, so, um, our weather is really Goodyear. Round up. We get over 265 days of sunshine an uh, occasionally, uh, it does get really hot in Davis over the summer, but it's not as hot as it is in Indonesia where you have that humidity hot and Davis.
Well, you have that dry hot where it's really hot. If you're out in the sun, but once you jump into an area that has shaved, it cools. Now, um, In addition to that, we are very safe campus and then being in a college town, we are overall the city of Davis is really safe. We also have a safe right option. So if student is taking a class late at night or studying later night at the library and they don't feel comfortable walking back.
Or biking back to their campus dormitory or to the campus bus stop. They can all. There's a after use and all you have to do is just request a ride and the safe drive. Someone from safe. I will meet you and provide an escort you back to your campus, dormitory or to your bus stop. So that's something that our campus as implemented in terms of campus safety getting around the city of Davis.
Down the public God bus transportation system is actually owned and operated by UC Davis, so your classmate might be your bus drivers driving those big red buses around and the campus is the hub of the of the all the bus line, so all the bus line comes to campus and one of the great thing about UC Davis is that every major apartment complex off campus has a bus stop within walking distance.
Or right in front of it, so it's very easy for you to get around the city and to get back to campus. Uhm most of the bus line. The furthers bus line that would that would uh get you to campus is no more than a 20 minute. Some other than that. Most of the location where students living. It takes 10 minutes to hop on the bus to get to campus.
The financial aspect. You're hot, as I mentioned earlier, how much is the cost of attendance to attend the University? Uh, what is the return on investment? You know? Well, what is the outlook of me getting a job or or you are giving help finding a job? So I, uh, UC Davis? Um, because we are a California public institution there. There's very limited scholarship or financial aid available for international students. However, a lot of our international students.
I do have the opportunity to apply for internships just like any other students at UC Davis, and they also have the opportunity to work on campus. We have a on campus website that's dedicated just to posting student jobs and just like just like that in our office, we have international students working for us also because as an international student you can only work on campus for up to 20 hours a week.
So uhm, the other aspect. The professional aspect you know, as I mentioned, how can I get an internship? You know other research opportunity. As I mentioned UC Davis, we are at a public research University. 70% of our students graduate conducting research internship wise at something that we are very proud of. We have the largest internship in cursor in the UC system. And what is the great thing about that is that you can get an internship anywhere in the world.
So I have students coming from Thailand and coming from Malaysia, coming from Brazil an uh, you know, after a their first year they will return home and when they return home I was something. Just don't go home and spend the summer doing nothing. Go to the internship in Caressa Naran when they visited the internship and Career Center, they were able to get an internship or intership and Christian are at UC Davis was able to help them land internship opportunity back in their home country.
So instead of going home and doing nothing, they were able to gain hands on professional experience before they come back to school to start their second or third year at UC Davis.
Research opportunities like I mentioned, we have the undergraduate research, uh?
Center on campus and you could always do research with faculty members in your particular major Fortune 500 companies recruits directly on our UC Davis campus, so that's something that's very important that you should consider two. You know when you're selecting a school, do Fortune 500 company recruits directly from other campus? Are they located in a region where you can get connected to large Corporation for internship opportunity?
Um an I UC Davis. We are located very close to Silicon Valley for our uhm.
Um us as soon as we're interested in computer science. Uhm, engineering. For our students who are interested in the agriculture, the full science field. We are located very close to Sacramento in Sacramento, is the form to farm to Fork.
Capital of the world. So you definitely have our our sister opportunity that's available for you. And what if you want to go to grad school? You know how does that? How does that University prepared to go on to Graduate School? And all an? I will say that majority of our students who do graduate do go on to Graduate School, an fact that I.
Was very surprised about was that you know majority of our students do it before and I want to go into medical school. Get into the number one choice of their medical school.
After they complete the undergraduate career at UC Davis, so just a quick summary of what we just talked about. You know, uhm, well the Fit Factor finding your best fit University Ann. We just went over these five different factors that students should consider when you guys are thinking about selecting a University, we understand that there's lots of universities out there that's available for students.
But these are just some of the fact factors that I feel that it's very important for students to consider when they are selecting the University. You know, sometimes you see Davis is an excellent choice for some students. Sometimes you see Davis might not be the best choice for other students based on these factors. So we definitely understand that. and I hope that from this webinar you're able to use these factors when you are done deciding where you want to attend.
College uh the next four years starting this fall, uh, once you complete your high school career, we also have a a WhatsApp chat group for students coming from a Southeast Asia. It's a great way for you guys to interact with other students that have been admitted into user, and I myself will be on that chat group to answer any questions that you have. So if you want to join that chat group, you can definitely scan the QR code.
That, uh, it's on the screen right now and join that a group.
Other than that, I want you guys to I want to show you guys a um, a student profile video of a student that came to UC Davis from Bali, Indonesia. He is a food science major, an uhm. He talks a little bit about why he chose UC Davis and how he found his community at UC Davis. So let me see if I can get this to work.
In Germany and from Bali, Indonesia, I'm starting food science at UC Davis. I can PC Davis because of its diverse international community and also it's California sun.
The food industry and you see Davis has connected me with various industry professionals and resources in the field.
Work in a food log and a food product development internship.
Not only that, I'd also been part of a student team that has brought our food ideas into various regional and national competitions by various thing about UC Davis.
I love it because it's like peaceful relaxing.
And also I made such great friends in my freshman year. I also found my community in UC Davis Booster club, Indonesian Student Association and also global Masters Program. I love how you see David students know how to study hard. But at the same time they know how to have fun too. And you see Davis CA connections.
I'm having here is positively impacting the future.
Uh, that was just a a short video about Germany and his experience that you see Davis. So if you, if you notice in there, he's a very active on campus and multiple student clubs competing in different food competition. So that's you know something like I mentioned, food science is a very popular major. One of the most popular major on our campus and it's actually a pretty fun major. Also, I was able to as a student while I was assuming you there, I was able to take.
A couple of the food science class just for general education. Uh so at this time I would like to open it up for questions. If you have any questions, definitely please. Feel free to answer to ask me any question you have in regards to UC Davis. Our emissions process. The what's next process for you. After this so if you have any questions, please go ahead and submit your questions and I can address them.
No, no questions. Do you guys you guys have you guys know everything about you? See Davis already.
So I will talk a little bit about the on campus on campus housing so you see, Davis, we had we guarantee on campus housing for our students for up to two years.
That we have the three different. Our housing local dormitory areas on campus and then we have one housing dormitory off campus which is about a five minute bike ride to get back to campus or a 10 minute walk to get back to campus. We have 17 different theme floors so you can choose to live on an international theme floor with different international students. You can be live in a Coed floor.
Uh, all boys floor of a female floors an.
We are have triple out a room with triple occupancy with three people double or single. So I you see Davis, you have different types of options in terms of your campus, dormitory, living situation and you have the opportunity to request a roommate. So if you have another friend that's coming with you to UC Davis, or if you know of another student that's coming to UC Davis, you guys can definitely request each other to an live together on our campus.
Any other questions that you guys have?
Another question that student asked me is how easy it is to get to, uh, our campus. Once you arrive in a California majority of our students coming from Southeast Asia, they will fly into San Francisco International Airport, an from San Francisco International Airport. There's different ways to getting onto campus. You can either once you arrive, you can take the train.
To get to campus at UC Davis uh there the Amtrak train uhm comes through the city of Davis. It drops you off right in downtown Davis an from downtown Davis. To get to our campuses. Uh, from the train station to get to our campus, it's about a 10 minute walk. Or you can hire A Uber or Lyft.
Card, so it's kind of similar to what you grab. You guys have grabbing in Indonesia is similar to grab or you can. You can use the app base and request a ride and they will pick you up at the airport and drop UAF on our campus. Another option is some students. They will get to San Francisco an hop on another, another flight to fly into Sacramento. Sacramento is the next largest city right next to Davis.
And from the Sacramento airport to get to campus, it's about A.
So, uhm, i'ma talk a little bit about the quarter system and why is it a good thing so you know it's I wouldn't say that it's a good thing. Um, it's just really based on preference. One of the things from my personal experience that I enjoy about the quota system is that it's a very fast paced environment. So for let's say worst case, you're stuck in a class that you don't like, but you are required to take that class or you start with professor that you don't lie.
You know it goes by pretty fast. 10 weeks in your out of there, and you move on to uh, to your next course. So um, in for some students they really like that fast paced environment. It keep. It helps them stay focused at health and be on track because if you're in a class that has three midterm an you only have a 10 week quarter, you're going to have a midterm every three weeks in on that 10th week. Do you jump right into finals? So that's
Hum, something that I want student. It is a fast paced environment, especially coming to UC Davis in your first year. I don't recommend you taking a lot of units. Uh, so um, I will tell students as as an incoming students your fall quarter into UC Davis take no more than 14 units. 12 units will give you full time student status, so I also soon taking in order from 12 to 14 units get accumulated with the University life.
At campus an, the quarter system uh environment before you start taking more classes and taking more units.
Anything else you guys would like to know about?
So another thing that I wanted to touch upon, your, uh, is uh?
The the biking invented are you see Davis Uhm?
We, as I mentioned we are very big biking community. Uhm our campus is very big. It takes like 45 minutes to walk from one end of the campus to the other end. So if you have a class at one into the campus and you need to get to the other side, it takes a long time to get across. So that's why we have a lot of bikes on campus. And because our campus is so big, it is the largest in the UC system that there's roads that goes through out of campus, that's all.

Can we rent the bike?
Only available for bites, so um is highly recommended that you learn how to ride a bike and when you get to campus. Uhm, yeah, there's a bike shop on campus for you to purchase your bike. There's a bike shop in the city of Davis in downtown Davis, UM, which is only a few minute walks off campus and there's large Department store in the city of Davis that also sells bike sickle. Also um so.
One and you know I I mentioned earlier that you see Davis is a very safe campus, but you know now with over 20,000 bikes on campus, our biggest crime on campus is bike death. So one thing that I would warn student is that.
Um, don't buy a very expensive bike. I had 27 Indonesian students God come to UC Davis last year as a new students. So um, of those 27 students, uh, a few of them, but very expensive. Pike, one of the students bought a bike that cost $700.00 an after the first week of being on campus. The bike was stolen so bite death is very big. On campus you have to learn how to.
Properly lock up your bike and don't buy a very expensive bike. Um, can you write? Can you? As soon as I ask, can we rent bikes on campus? Yes, uh, on our campus we have, um, what's called jump bike that's available for students. So these, uh, bikes are for rent? And how do you rent them? Is that there's a app that you download, and so there's these bikes are scattered all.
Throughout campus in all you have to do is based on the tab you can see the location of where a bicycles available and you approach to buy. Can you use the app to scan the QR code on the bike and it unlocks the bike for you and it charges you per minute. I believe it is a one US dollar uh for up to 15 minute use so you can definitely rent a bike on campus, but I highly recommend you buy your own bike.
Because you're gonna be using this bike for the next four years. Uh, but like I mentioned, do not buy an expensive bike. Just buy a bike that's less than 100 US dollar. It would definitely get you around. I my bike cost me 70 US dollar an elastic me all four years when I was at UC Davis so I didn't have any issue. Like I mentioned, I don't recommend, you're just using the bike to to get around campus to go to class.
I don't recommend you buy a very fancy expensive robot that costs a 755 to $700.00.
Anything else you would like to know about UC Davis?
So I'm gonna talk a little bit about our, uh, our campus environment. As I mentioned, UC Davis is a large school. We have over 30 one students on our campus. We are a Division One school. We are one of the three Division One school in the UC system that has a football team. So an American football team.
And I worked at work for school of over 31 thousand students. There are going to be times are you going to be in in a classroom setting with a lot of students. So for example, there are going to be times where you're going to be in a classroom with over 500 students, or roughly around 500 students. These are more of our general foundation courses like our chemistry courses are biology courses. Are calculus courses right? So during lecture, you're going to be in the large lecture style classroom.
That Conceit anywhere from 300 to 500 students, right? So the law professor is lecturing on a microphone. However, once you break into your discussion course or your lab, a laboratory course that's associated with that lecture, it breaks it down to a smaller classroom size. No more than 20 five students per session. So during lecture, you're going to be in a large style lecture Hall, but during your discussion or your laboratory session.
Then it breaks it down to a more traditional, smaller classroom setting environment, and then once you start taking your upper division.
Horses that password do get smaller because once you jump into upper division majority of the time you're going to be taking classes with only students within your major. But during your first 2 year on campus when you are taking a lot of your foundation courses or your general education courses, there's going to be times where you're going to be taking classes in a large lecture lecture style platform that can fit up to 500 students.
Yeah, another thing that I would like to talk about is, uh, you know, are getting involvement on campus. That's why one thing that I've been, uh, always telling students that because we are a college town, everything about the city of Davis revolves around the students and the University. You might be an. As I mentioned, downtown Davis is right off. Campus is literally two blocks off campus in urine.
Right to downtown Davis and since we are a small city, we aren't downtown is not big like for example Jakarta with huge skyscraper big mall inside the skyscraper, no nothing like that are um. Downtown Davis is very small. You know there's lots of family run restaurants. Lots of eateries an you know you might be grabbing lunch in downtown Davis and you might run into.
Into other students that you know why you might run into your a professor or your faculty member that you know you might go grocery shopping in the city of Davis, and you might run into professors at the grocery store as well. Majority of our professor do live in the city of Davis, so, um, that's one thing that our students really enjoy about our campus in our city is that everything about the CDA? Davis revolves around our University.
Um our students. Uhm, you know, as you as I mentioned earlier, half the residents in the city of Davis are made up of UC Davis students.

Do we need special requirement to work in campus? do we need to have the social security number?
Anything else that you guys would like to know about UC Davis?
I had a question, do we need special requirements to work on campus? Do we need to have a Social Security number? Get very good question. So as an international students.
No, you would not need a Social Security number because if your international students, uh, yeah, so you do not need a Social Security number to work on campus. However, I do know that you as an international student you can only work on campus up to 20 hours a week. And there's lots and lots of student jobs on campus that's available.
We have a website that, uh, publish all of the student job opportunities that's available when I was assuming at UC Davis, I never had an issue finding a student job on campus and a student job on campus is very unique because the as an employer that hire students distant, we understand that your education construct, so we work your work schedule around your school schedule so.
Uh, it's the opportunities is definitely there for you. You know, when I was at UC Davis, I started working after my freshman year. I don't recommend you working during your freshman year during your freshman year. Focus on getting used to the University, live getting adjusted to living away from home, and then starting your sophomore year. Second year, that's when you should start looking for student jobs. and I never had an issue finding a student job on campus during my.

How about getting internship outside the campus? Can we also involve in it ?
Junior year I was actually working to student job. I was drugged driving the UM, the Big Red Bus is a around a campus and I was also working as a student academic advisor. So you can definitely have multiple student Java campus, but you can only work up to 20 hours per week. You cannot exceed that 20 hours per week limitation.
So another question. How about Guinea Intership outside of campus? Uhm. So you definitely have the opportunity to get an internship outside of campus. That's where majority. That's actually where majority of our students do get their internships. So we don't have a lot of internship opportunities on campus. But we have lots and lots of internship opportunity off campus. Are internship in Kris Jenner has over 10,000.
Ah I internship. Uh, uh sites or internship opportunity. So as I mentioned, it doesn't even need to be. Uhm, uh, in the city of Davis in Sacramento and the Bay Area. If you are going home after your freshman year and you return it back to Indonesia, you can also look for and they can also help you look for an internship in Indonesia that you can do over the summer once you're home. So the opportunity are definitely available for students.

Hi! How should we apply for scholarships as an international student? For the scholarship / financial aids opportunities I saw on the website are mainly for Californians / U.S residents
Um outside of campus. An majority of our students do do a intership uh outside of campus. I personally when I was a student at UC Davis, I did two different internship outside of UC Davis an both of these internship I was able to uh find them by visiting the internship and Career Center.
So this we ask, how should we apply for scholarship as the international students?
Anne for scholarships. Financial aid opportunities. I saw on the website on mainly for California, US resident. Yes, that is very true. So as a California public institution, majority of our scholarship or financial a is geared towards serving California residents. However, when when you apply to UC Davis your UC application actually serves as your scholarship application, an.
Your emissions application, so we do have very, very limited entry of a scholarship opportunity for international students. If you go on to the to the financial aid website.
Oh, you can actually look at. There's a tab that says international students and it gives you the different types of scholarships that international students can apply for. Once you get on to campus. And if you are selected using the UC application, we do have a Provost scholarship that's that's awarded to international students. So if you are awarded that scholarship, you should have received that notice already.

How much the yearly estimated cost for tuition, room and living cost ?
Any other questions about UC Davis said you would like to know about?
So how much the yearly estimated cost for tuition room and board? So the total cost of attendance is roughly around 65,000 US dollar and that includes your tuition for the year. It includes your room and board. It includes your books and supplies in an. That's basically the total package, right? It's it's around 65,000 US dollar.

06:45:11 PM
Can we choose the dorm room?
OK Samantha ask can we choose the dorm room so definitely so it's all one. When you submit your housing application. Uhm, there is like I mentioned we have three different dormitory areas on campus in a one dormitory off campus and uh, on the application you can choose where you, which area. Or are you want to live in so.
They will try to accommodate you best with your first choice, but if they can fit you in with your first choice, they will go on to your second choice or your third choice. Uhm, so you can definitely choose which area which dormitory you would prefer as your first choice, and we will try our best to match you up well with that particular area, but one of the unique thing about our dormitory is that.
All of them are either brand new or they have been renovated. So like even with the dorms that I lived in by uh, when I was a student they had been completely read, redone. And then we also have a new dormitories in, uh, in the euro area and also in the quatto areas, so the quarter area is our campus dormitory that's off campus that has been completely re been redone.
And a brand new dining common is out there. And then, uh, we also have three, uh, different dormitories on campus. In. As I mentioned, we have different dot da maturing themes, so you guys can choose to live in the international. Uh, uh student theme. Uhm floor, uh, where you have the opportunity to meet other international students? Yeah, you can if you are interested in engineering, there's an engineering floor. There's a big, uh.

Is there a bus route that runs throughout the entire campus?
You save it. I business floor a Coed. Like I mentioned all female all, uh, all Mail there's also a quiet a quiet theme floor where quiet hours starts at 7:00 o'clock so this is for students who are very studious. They don't like allowed environment so quiet hour is enforced earlier. So um we have different types of options to meet your needs.
So is there a bus route that runs throughout the entire campus? So as I mentioned, the campus is the hub for all the the bus lines, so there is bus route that runs throughout the entire city of Davis and all of those.
Lowe's bus line comes right back to the UC Davis campus. Uh, so uhm I would, uh so it is really easy for students to get around the city of Davis wherever you go in the city, Davis, if you hop on a bus, that bus will take you right back to campus. An on campus. There's a two different, uh bus hubs, location on campus that you can catch. You can catch a ride on the bus and one of the great thing is that as a student.
All you have to do is to show your UC Davis student ID and you can ride the bus transportation system for free throughout throughout the city of Davis.
And as I mentioned, if you didn't get a chance, definitely scan the QR code to to come join our Southeast Asia. A WhatsApp group to meet other students from Southeast Asia and to ask questions that you have. I myself will be leading this group, so if you have any questions you can definitely feel free to ask me on that site also.
And there are. This is a Direct Line for you, uh, to ask any questions. Or you can share with other students as well. So they are definitely add as yourself into this, uh, Southeast Asia with that group you know, by joining this group it doesn't mean you need to, uh, commit UC Davis. You know it's just a way for you to get to meet other students. Find out what other students are thinking about. You see David and also have a direct connection to me. If you have any questions as I mentioned.
I am the recruited that comes out to a Indonesia every year. Uh, and uh, I've been mainly just staying in the Jakarta area. Uh, but if you definitely I want to have a direct access to me, you can definitely join the WhatsApp and have a day. And yeah, get to know other students from Indonesia or from Southeast Asia and also find out about what students are talking about.
OK, so any other questions if there's no more questions than I would end this web and R and I look forward to interacting with you in our WhatsApp Group and I hope that you see Davis is a good fit for you and that you were well. Join us. Uh, in the fall. As I mentioned last year I had 27 new incoming students from Indonesia, so I hope to see.
