TAP in a SNAP - Virtual LabTuesday, July 16, 2024 at 4:30 PM until 6:00 PMPacific Daylight Time UTC -07:00TAP in a Snap is a campaign to bring UC TAP awareness to all community college students, enrolled at TOP participating colleges. The original slogan "The TAP is a snap!" campaign was led by Maristella Bacod, a former Transfer Center Coordinator at Sacramento City College. We honor the SCC staff for coming up with a great slogan. What is a UC TAP? The UC TAP stands for Transfer Admission Planner, an online tool to help track your progress with admission requirements. As you enter your courses and grades earned every semester, (if filled out correctly), the TAP will calculate your UC GPA and UC transferable units. Why use UC TAP? UC representatives will use your record on the TAP to provide tailored advising. We use this database to invite you to many unique opportunities to enhance your transfer experience. TAP is the home of TAG. Are you ready to work on your UC TAP? Please follow the checklist below.Do it yourself first. Step 1: Gather all of your documents: transcripts, AP/IB exams/scores, high school transcript(s) Step 2: Visit https://uctap.universityofcalifornia.edu/students/ Step 3: Follow the instructions on UC TAP Navigation on Youtube Pro Tip: Work slowly to ensure accuracy. All records must be identical to your transcript(s) Note: If you attended schools other than California Community Colleges they will not auto populate in your UC TAP. You will need to manually input the course subject, title, and units. Ready to get your UC TAP review? Step 1: Double check. Log in to your UC TAP account. Find the menu on the right. Please make sure to fill out everything from "about me" to "when and where I plan to transfer." Step 2: Download your unofficial transcripts. Our staff can review them before the session is over. Step 3: This session is a working session. A laptop/computer is required. Please check your "share screen" function set up. GOAL At the end of each session, you will walk away with a polished and accurate UC TAP account. If you have any questions email top-soa@ucdavis.edu . Loading...
