There are 7 subsections in the UC application. UC personal insight questions require students to write a response to 4 questions (1 required, 3 out of 7 additional questions). UC campuses want to get to know you better. You can share your life experience, interests, ambitions, and inspirations. Think of it as your interview with the admissions office. Be open. Be reflective. Find your individual voice and express it, and TOP is here to help you. To get ready for this session, you should Review the PIQ worksheet (for transfer students)Aim to write at least 2 responses using google doc In this session, we will pair students in breakout rooms. Students will peer-review each other's writing. Once you are done, TOP student ambassadors and staff will review ONE (1) of your writing. We encourage that you draft and revise your writing a few times before submitting your application in November. Please utilize your community college's writing center(s) for further assistance.
